Remarks :

The college must provide a good placement for our branch.i.e civil. The college is having good campus and infrastructure but the drinking water facilities should be provided properly.

Entrance Preview :

I appeared for JEE MAINS entrance exam. I landed up here as I was allotted to the college through CAP round process. There's no interview process followed. Due to My family background I chose the course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is really good. The practical sessions are held enough in the college. The civil branch deals heavily with the practical knowledge. There aren't any major researches taken by the College.

Internships Opportunities :

The college sometimes provides internships. We are recently informed that the students who need the internships are suppose to contact the faculty members. I haven't done any internship yet so not knowing much about it. Also don't have much knowledge about the Stipend provided.

Placement Experience :

The placement for our branch is too low. Around 20-30 % of the students are placed yearly. Which is a real disappointing thing. The Major companies visiting our college for recruitment are the companies which are related to other branches like VEX pharmaceutical, TECH MAHINDRA, INFOSYS,etc. The average package given is around 4 to 5 LPA.

College Events :

The cultural program held every year in the college is named as MRUDANG. The college also organises the sports events as well which is named as KURUKSHETRA. These events are huge having the footfall of about 2k . The college manages well for the same.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The college is quite affordable relatively. As the fees of every college is increasing. The college is having mediocre fees. The fees for open category is 78k annually. That for OBC is 43k. And that for SC ST is around 1500/-. The fees for VJNT category is 7.6k

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The College provide scholarship for the needy students. And only for those who are eligible for it. That is they should be allotted by the CAP round process. There is also the earn & learn scholarship provided by the College at its level.

Campus Life :

The college is good at organising Extracurriculars. Many technical & non technical events are organised in the college. Many seminars and workshops are also organised.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes I do reside at the hostel but not at the college hostel as the fees are very high. The fees of the college is quite low but the hostels are very much expensive. There are the rooms at sharing. The hostel is very well maintained in terms of its hygiene. They don't have PGs. The fee is 1.2 lakhs annually. It is very high & not at all affordable. The food quality is good.

Alumni/Alumna :

No the college don't have this provision. They don't provide any proper platform for the students-alumni interaction. The alumni contributes surely in the overall development of the college.

Exam Structure :

The exams are sometimes boring. Making us feel tired at times. However the labs are not at all boring. It help us gain the Practical knowledge alot.

Faculty :

The faculties are good. Well qualified & experienced. Some of the teaching staff are strict but do good at teaching. They help us learn the basics & practical knowledge. They are very much interactive. The standard of teaching atleast for our branch in the college is pretty high.

WHY YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE ADMISSION IN YCCE?

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester the students are allowed to sit in placements The companies like TCs And capegeminis is common for mass recruitment and new companies like Accenture also visisted And total 200+ offers were made in placements Highest package this year was 21 lakhs in IT sector and the average package is 3-4 lakhs. Only 60% students get placed. I am going to do business after graduation as i dont trust college as it would give me placement

Our beautiful College

Placement Experience:

From the third-year sixth semester our college taking campus placement or internship programs. In the past, our college has got an average of 4 LPA packages and the highest 12 or 14 LPA packages. There are so many companies like TCS, COGNIGENT, WIPRO, etc. Our College gives 95-98% placement in engineering. My plan is to do a job in a data scientist post in the company and give my best to that company that's all.

Is RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering a good place for seeking admission

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their last year. There are many good companies that come and take part in the placement drives. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini etc. come here for placements. The highest package in my understanding was about 30 lakhs as studied and searched by me. Many students secure packages above 3.5 lakhs in our college. About 90% of students get placed through the drives. My plan is also to take a good job from placement and then do my masters.

My Engineering Life Review in this college

Admission:

I got admission through CAP Round as directed by AICTE and DTE, the process is of 3 rounds until you choose a college and finalize it. Admission dates for FE students start from around May-June period as college opens at around 15 July approx. And Students need to bring all documents attested and submit the original 10th- 12th documents in the college and after completing the graduation. He/She can collect the originals from the college after collecting LC from the college.
