- I loved the curriculum of IIT Indore as it provides more practical knowledge than theoretical. It also has a subject course called make a space which focuses on the practical growth of the individual.
- IIT Indore also provide some great sports facilities and it has a very good gym area for those who want to practise gym.
Dislikes
- We expected that we will get single rooms in the hostel. As last year. It was single room but from this year onwards we are provided with double rooms in which two people live in a room.
- The exams challenge the student and they are quite tough to crack. Most of the students study day night in order to get good grades in the exam as the competition is very high since the best of the students are here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because i had interest in civil engineering and my rank also a major factor in choosing this course. The faculty here is well qualified and provides great support. The exams were quite challenging and required efforts to pass.
Internships Opportunities :
There are many companies like Google Samsung Flipkart which offer internships in the third year of the student, and there are many projects which they provide stipend for the same. In the campus, the seventh semester is only for the internships in the projects which the student gift and in this semester the students need not to do any course.
Placement Experience :
From the fourth semester student become eligible for campus placements and in the third year they also get internships from several companies. There are many companies which visited the campus last year which included Microsoft's and many more. The highest for our campus was 75 lakhs and the average was around 20 lakhs and like almost 90% of the students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees of this course is three lakh per annum and for those whose family income is less than one lakh per annum. They get there tuition fees which is one lakh waived off. And the campus also provide jobs in the third and the fourth year ended also provides internships.
Campus Life :
Iiti, Indore just called Fluxus which is held in the month of March and it has a lot of events which includes cultural tech and many more and in Iiti in Noor. There are a lot of books in the library. The library is called LRC where our class class rooms which and have very nice sitting arrangements. The sports activities were also very good and the extra curricular activities include inter Iiti competitions as well.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel of Iiti, Indore provides units to the students like in a unit. There are five rooms in which and the students live in double rooms and each unit has its own washroom and a small kitchen area and the cleaning process is also very good. The quality of miss food is quite good decent and up to the mark and the hostel charges 16,000 per semester and a mess fees is 15,000 per semester.
Admission :
To get admission into iit indore you need to clear jee advanced with sufficient rank. Jee advanced is conducted by top 7 iits once a year with two papers. Application form was given by these iits and only those who qualified jee mains with sufficient percentile, it is conducted in may and june. Cutoff is very high for this exam.
