Course Curriculum Overview
I was highly interested in medicine from the very beginning and that's why I chose this course The faculty are very good and there is a ratio of 1:3 All the faculties are postgraduate and some of them have even done their super specialisation Their teaching methods are just excellent Yes exams are difficult but given the quality of faculties it gets easy to pass the exams
Internships Opportunities
We get internship in the college itself but after the internship we are offered jobs at some of the best hospitals in the state Internship was really great we learned a lot of practical experience and it developed my character much more than anything
Placement Experience
We have compulsory bond in this college So all the students are provided with the chance to serve in government hospitals for two years after the fifth year We get really nice grade pay over here and it starts with 80k so that's good enough for a fresher and the ones posted in rural areas get paid extra for that
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost is very minimum since it's a government institution Yearly fees is 22k for general students and 17k for the rest for the first four years and then we get the internship in the final year After the internship all the students get jobs earning more than 80k
Campus Life
Campus life is not the best it's still in a developmental phase We organize the annual festival called flames that's very enjoyable though there are not enough extra curricular activities but still we manage to do a lot of fun off campus
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are provided for all the students after first year Girls get the hostel from first year itself The hostel mess is a private mess so there's no compromise in the quality of food Apart from regular meals they also serve food items such as parathe omelette and other such stuff
Admission
Eligibility - Neet qualified For general and OBC a minimum of 625 marks is required in the Neet examination Application form is available on NTA website in the month of March Fees is reduced for OBC students from 22k to 17k Admission process should be more efficient and fast
