The first thing I like about my college is the Infrastructure of the college.

Dislikes

First thing that I don't like is some faculty members based on their duties performance.
Delaying in giving information in the beginning of the semester as the teachers have enough time to convey about the Books information.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I'm a student with commerce background in higher school, so to continue my field of interest I chose B.COM course to explore more. NCWEB's faculty is not that much good they are just doing their work casually with the large students ratio in the course. I don't know about the qualification of my faculties but I would like to mention that teachers cannot make an environment where we as students feel an engagement during the class. We have semester based system in which after 6 months of the semester we have to appear for the exam.

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 3365 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

NCWEB centres offer some limited course with minimal fees to the students so that every girl can pursue their courses in NCWEB. I guess in NCWEB centres students do not get any opportunity like getting placements from college and even can't join any college societies or clubs.

Campus Life :

As classes in NCWEB basically happen only on Sundays specially, so can't explore the campus life very well like regulars do. If I talk about the events that happen mainly three and those are CULTURAL FESTIVAL, SPORTS DAY and ANNUAL FUNCTION where the faculty collect some amount from students to celebrate these events in the college. There are many societies in the college like Dance society, Debate society and more which is run by the regular admission students only.

Admission :

As I'm a student of NCWEB which comes under the Delhi University where only women can apply for graduation who don't want to pursue regular college. Process for getting admission in NCWEB is done through the direct admission in the university based on cutoff, I want to mention that there is no entrance test to get admission in the university. For admission updates, students must visit the official website of Delhi University as well as the college's website where you want to take admission.

The students become eligible for campus placement from 3rd year and the companies that visit our campus are deloitte,kpmg india, kpmg global and pwc india, the highest package offered was 22.5lpa and the average package is 6lpa and around 85% students are usually getting placed, my plans after this degree is to pursue mba abroad

The reality of Choosing an Open Degree

Placement Experience:

From 3rd or 2nd year onwards maybe you'll be able to have do internships for placement opportunities. Like 40or 50% students gets placed .after getting this degree i may be going for IIM .So a course like bcom doesn't attract a high package.

Class 12th exams. College was close to my residence and one of the renounced colleges in commerce field.

Admission:

The college is under Delhi University so if follows the DU admission process of filling up forms and declaring cut off lists. I filled up the form and waited for cut off lists declaration. I got my name listed in 3rd cut off list. Paid admission fees and got the admission.
