Remarks :

Maintenance of the college is degrading day by day. They have to take care of that issue. They also need to take care of the conflicts being raised between the students. If care wont be taken then it might lead to some serious issues. All the other facilities being provided by the college is awesome. The infrastructure is also splendid But many conflicts happen in the area in which college is present.I learnt how to represent myself before everyone and to stand out in a crowd. The college helped me in removing my stage fear which i have from childhood. It made me brave and courageous and molded me to face any challenges with spirit

Entrance Preview :

To get admission in our college we have an entrance exam called HIT-SEE and the other way is through your intermediate percentage.I wrote the entrance exam and landed up in this college. There is nothing like interview but a small basic counseling process was involved to select our stream. My aim to become a pilot made me choose this course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course which I have chosen is Aeronautical engineering which is different from other courses and it is very interesting. It focuses much on practical learning. They take us to AERO HANGER and explain all the parts involved in it.They even takes us to Tambaram Air force station.Yes there are many research initiatives taken by our college.

Internships Opportunities :

Till now they didn't provide internship for us but we visited many universities and colleges for attending workshops and seminars very frequently. We ourselves search some internships using app's like Internshala, frapp,et .Internshala provides both technical and non-technical internships whereas frapp mostly offers non-technical internships.

Placement Experience :

Placements in our college is very good.Nearly ninety percent of the students get placed in various companies like Infosys,Tech Mahindra,TCS,Air India etc... These are the major companies that visited our college from the past eight years. The average package is around three lakhs forty five thousand per year.

College Events :

Our college organizes many cultural programmes every academic year .The way they organise is good and we enjoyed a lot.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is little bit more compared to the colleges in which my friends are studying.Fee for B.tech Aeronautical engineering is two lakhs per annum. If we want hostel facilities then we need to pay an extra amount of eighty thousand to one lakh based on the requirements you need like air conditioner, two sharing, three sharing,etc..

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes they provide scholarship for merit students in entrance exam as well as merit students in +2 .

Campus Life :

There are good extracurricular activities like horse riding, music, sports etc.Every one can participate in it.

Hostel Facilities :

I residing in hostel in a/c room but recently our college opened a new international hostel. It is very good and nice.Rooms are hygienic and food is also good but hostel fees is so expensive.

Alumni/Alumna :

The Student-alumni interaction is good .They provided a good platform for communication between the current ongoing student and the alumni. It also contributes for the development of college

Exam Structure :

Internal exams are kept frequently but it is a good thing because during final examination we won't feel that much stress.

Faculty :

Faculty are good compared to other colleges which are having this course. They are quite knowledgeable and experienced for many years. They have good exposure to technical world. They even share their experiences so that it could be useful for us in some or the other way. They are interactive but some teachers show partiality to Tamil students

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
