- The calm and serene environment of the campus. Green and clean roads of the campus which makes it very beautiful. 24×7 secuirity and cctv is present in campus for students security. Animals like Neelga, peacocks etc. makes it a living zoo in it.
- Central library is present which provides 24×7 reading facilities in it. Books of every course and novels are easily available in the library. One could prepare for any competetive exam in that Environment.
Dislikes
- The campus is so huge approx. that one could not travel it by foot and no public transport is run by the university for students.
- Many land is left barren and many more departments and infrastucture could be built in those areas. More than half area of university is barren and covered with trees and plants.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Interested in persuing Btech in Electrical Engineering so that I can also apply for government fields. Faculty is very nice and supportive, well trained and highly qualified. It is one of the Department in University having highest no. of students enrolled. Exams and checking is quite strict. Two mid sessional exams are conducted before end semester exam. Each is of 20 marks. Practicals are also conducted to evaluate students.
Internships Opportunities :
Many companies like HCL,TCS, Wipro etc. Visits the campus for students recruitment for various post like Graduate engineer trainee, IT Executive etc. Many native recruiters of city also hire students like Lulu mall, plassio etc for Operations Executive etc. Edtechs like byju's, upgrad also Visits for hiring students.
Placement Experience :
Till six semester students become eligible to sit for placement recruitments. As placement rate is low so most of the students prefer to persue pg after qualifying GATE or CAT. Many companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro etc. Visits the campus for Recruitment but placement is totally based on the skills and knowledge of the students. Campus provides very calm and clean environment and ample time to involve yourself in any exam preparation. No one is their to hamper your studies. Library is available 24×7 and one could utilize it very judiciously. Highest package reached in my course is approx 10 lakhs and Avg. Package is of 6.75 lakhs offered by the Company. Approx 5 to 10% students are placed Based on their skills. My plan is to preapare for UPSC simultaneously along with my btech
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees for 1 semester is 61400. Approx. 460000 is the fee of whole course for 4 years. Placement Cell of Department is very active in recruiting students and hire students for internships under 4- 6k per month. Scholarships are also provided to the students by Central government having family Income below 2 lacs per annum
Campus Life :
Recently a tech fest Kshitij is conducted in the campus in Association with iit kharagpur. Campus of University is very big provides very diversified environment for building social life. Cental library is also present having all kinds of books in it. It has 3 floors and provides 24×7 reading facilities to students. Sports events are also conducted every year in january in which students participate for various sports. University also contains a very big gymnasium which provides all types of gyming instuments and machines
Hostel Facilities :
One of the best thing in University is Hostel accomodation. Seven hostels are present in campus. Three for boys and fourth one is going under construction. And 4 are girls hostels. Each Hostel contains a mess in it which provides three time meal breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Quality of food is very nice and one can eat as much food as he wants in one payment. 2700 rupees is the mess charges for one month. Room of hostels are in very good condition well equipped with cot and study table and chair. And wall almirah is also provided. One have to just bring his own matress and blanket. Locality is in out of the city but one could easily get room or pg in rent as many spciety, colonies and apartments are present near 2-3km of University.
Admission :
From CUET it requires the Score of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English for admission in Btech. Each paper is of 200 marks which becomes the total of 800 marks in CUET. Admission is done through merit based on CUET exam conducted by NTA every year. Addmission are also taken through JEE score.
