Course Curriculum Overview :

HITS provides a good structured course which rarely focus on mugging up of books. There are tremendous opportunities for research and development. Studies are carried along with other activities like music, dance and so many artistic talents.Our campus has lab facilities for all streams of engineering.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, HITS providing internships and lots of new workshops, seminars and more to the students During sem holidays HITS providing various web links for students to getting internships

Placement Experience :

HITS offer placements to various leading companies which takes students from all streams of engineering( core companies). Some of the companies include Volkswagen, amazon, Bosch, accenture, zoho, BMW, etc. IBM has a collaboration with our college and offer special trainings and job offers for students.

College Events :

There are lot of events are happening at HITS during each academic year Every year the collage culturals are happening in a grand manner Vahanaa the automobile show is the very class automobile expo and symphosyum of automobile department happening in every two years

Fee Structure And Facilities :

HITS fee structure is comparitively more flexible while comparing with other deemed universities U.G admissions for mechanical and aero stream the tuition fee is around 3lk and for non mechanical steam like cse,it,eee,ece and etc the tuition fee is around 2lk

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, HITS is widly offering lot of scholarships for students with more marks based on the merit system. More number of HITS students are availing educational scholarship from the management of HITS

Campus Life :

Students prove their talents irrespective of gender, culture, religion and economic status. Workshops and various competitions are conducted periodically to boost up the young minds. There is complete freedom for students to follow their culture and traditions.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are really a comfort zone for students from other states and countries. The fee is affordable. Air conditioned rooms are also available here. The food is hygienic and healthy. Rooms are well maintained. One room is big enough for three students. Separate rooms are also there. ATM , hospital, recreation centers are also available near hostel.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

HITS having a world wide healthy alumini association of passed out students. The alumini association is very active with the perfomance of HITS

Exam Structure :

Exam structures at HITS is very effective for studets studies For every semister the university is conducting unit 1&2 exams for every theoy subjects after compleation of each units. After unit exams model exams are conducted before end sem exam with all theory and practical subjects

Admission :

Admission office is in Guindy. I'm supposed to go there and select my course of study.There are several course specifications. They helped me to choose a correct course that suits me. Later we have to fill the form details including transport or hostel facilities. There are so many extracurricular courses available.

Faculty :

There are lot of well trained and well qualified faculties at HITS. All the faculties are very friendly and easy approachable. Most of the faculties are having an experience with teaching Teaching method are very intresting and new Every students can aproach their faculties at any time with help of social networking facilities

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
