The Facts of LPU

Genetics and Plant Breeding is an interesting course in Agriculture science in which I think I can learn something new and useful. The faculties are friendly, interactive and educationally qualified.The classes will be strictly taken in English and includes both Assistant and Assosiate Professors. The exam are conducted timely, a mid term exam which is MCQ based and End term exam which includes both practical and theorey exams. The exams are not easy to get passed as the evaluation is based on key points.

As I'm doing Masters it's a 2 year course which has 4 semester. I can attend placement drives from second semester..Many private companies like INFOLLION, FITLO, UN ACADEMY and ICAR recruits eligible students from interview.The highest package is 10 lakhs. In Agriculture department about 30% of students get placed in different companies. After achieving the degree I would like to do job in Agriculture field and after making some saving I will do PhD.

The Cost of study is different for different students according to the scholarship they receives. The Scholarship recived is LPU NEST scholarship according to marks obtained in this exam.I haven't applied for any jobs inside campus but part time jobs are available.

The University promotes all kind of Extra curricular activities and support students in their passion.Every year the Youth Fest will be conducted in August month and a One World event will be conducted as the College has both National and International students. Classrooms are provided with all facilities and smart classes are conducted. The Department of Student Welfare is more active department in which any student can register for different extra curricular activities and Both indoor and outdoor Sports trainings are given inside the campus with gym facilities.

Registered for LPU NEST exam for scholarship benefits in which I got a cutoff of 30% from total fees which is 120000. The eligibility is Graduation with a minimum CGPA of 5 in Agriculture Science course. As I belong to general category I didn't got any reservation benefits. The admission process is easy and everything can be done online. The document submission can be done online and will be verified at the time of admission.
