Course Curriculum Overview :

I have opted Political Science Hons in Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University. I was much interested in the fields related to political domain such as constitution and foreign policy so that is why I have choosen. There are 66 students and almost 12 faculties to the dept. All professors are PhD holders but some are still pursuing PhD. They are well in their field and teaching methods and at the end of the sem they take review of their teaching. Exams are not happening on Time bcz session started late due to COVID.

Internships Opportunities :

I know about internship of college that one which college itself provide as a research internship of the particular topics. Another I heard about Summer internship that Delhi University provides for 6 months of stipend Rs 5000.

Placement Experience :

Since I am not from commerce student so i don't have more idea with regards to campus placement. But I know a little bit like students become eligible for placement after 2nd year and companies come like Deloitte, Decathlon etc. Many students got placement offer of almost 12 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, it's a genuine issue bcz I have faced the fees hike policy as recently I paid rs 16,242 for fees which is not good for some students whose financial background is not as much as good still due to cuet I can see people are coming from different places and students who are really good in their studies want to study in DU but obstruction are happening due to fees hike. So , i really want to speak that fees hike should not be done in this way as colleges are doing. I got freeship wherein i got 20% fee concession which is not enough to reduce the burden of fees hike.

Campus Life :

In my college, Nexus is an annual fest happen in the February month (it vary time to time). The books are available but more journals need to be there in the library for humanities subjects. Yes, Lights, fans and projector are there and there is no problem regarding that. I don't have much idea about the sports but definitely i play cricket in the ground for passion. There are many societies in the college campus like Exordium, Global youth SVC chapter, NSS Vimarsh society all are runned by students and I am part of Global youth SVC chapter.

Admission :

I took admission through CUET entrance exam which has been famous since 2022 and it is available for all those students who wants to study in central university across the country. I am studying in Delhi University college where anybody wants to take admission, first of all one has done completed intermediate or higher secondary education then they have to fill an application form on NTA Website by providing all credentials that are required for the same such as Class 10th & 12th marksheet, identity proof, domicile certificate, caste certificate, income certificate, passport size photo. If anyone belongs to caste category like EWS, OBC, SC and ST they can avail reservation benefits through providing certificate from time which is required by the NTA. Then at the time of scorecard every college has its own cutoff released by analysing competition level by DU. Ultimately, i want to convey my suggestion that NTA should not make any error during the exam like surver failure and all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course content and structure is very good. Not only is it super practical, it takes a toll on the student to actually study in order to pass. Mugging up doesn't make a student pass in srcc. You need to study. Negatives are it is a very heavy course sometimes so we can't do a lot of societies with it that bcom students can do.

Placement Experience:

Final year students(Semester-5 for Three yearcourse and Semester-7 for four year course)are eligible for the campus placement. Last year about 175+ renowned recruiters visited and 172 students of diverse backgrounds secured placement offers. The highest package was of 23.05 lpa and average package was of 7.24 lpa last year which includes the profiles of Finance, Management, Marketing, Associate, Content and many more. After taking degree from this college opens various opportunities for me in the sector of Content and Journalism also for Civil Services.

I have no proper idea for the placement, but the college has a PLACEMENT CELL SOCIETY, which offers oppurtunity to work with different companies and get placed. It may range somewhere from 1.5 lacs to 3-4 lacs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is B.A. Hons. Business Economics....it has both business and economics so I can get idea about both...We have 3 core subjects and 3 extra subjects Like SAC VAC and GE which gives us a minor course degree...The faculty is so good then I don't think any improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods and also the frequeyand timing of exams along with your perspective on their medium level...so it's the best course

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was really interested in English as a subject ever since I was a child and when I was in 11th I decided to pursue the language in depth. I think the course is really good it gives you insight in literature from different partsof the world . It is the best course if your objective is to build a strong base in english for further studies. The curriculum is relevant with the present market. It prepares us for the the different career paths. The frequency of exams is pretty good and gives us enough time to learn different thing along with aur core subjects. I would personally rate the difficulty level of exams 7/10.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for college placements from the 5th semester. I remember Genpact and Decathalon coming to our college. The average package ranged from 2,50,000 to 4,00,000. The placement cell also organizes an internship fair every year for which students are eligible from the third semester. The percentage of students getting placed is moderate. Around 35% to 40% of students got placements. My plan was to study further and go on with my masters in English.
