Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course due to my keen interest in data science. As our course is new, we have only 6-7 faculties with each year having students over 50. The term ends in the duration of 5 months. The examination is moderate.

Class Size : 55Course Fees : INR 88000 per year

Placement Experience :

Companies like TCS, Infosys, Teal, Concentrix, etc. visit our college for placement. The campus placement starts from either the 6th Or the 7th semester. The highest package offered is 10 lakhs and the average package offered is 3 lakhs. About 10% of the students get placed. I will be opting for placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am supposed to pay the whole amount but the college supports financial assistance like student loans. Our college does offer scholarships to the top 5 meritorious students per department and also a tuition fee waiver.

Campus Life :

The campus is good. We have an open library as well as a digital library. As our course is new, I didn't find any useful books in our library related to our course. We have projectors, whiteboard, exhaust, etc. Our college supports different sports like badminton, football, basketball, kabaddi etc. Our Techfest is called Thabang and we conduct a few technical events and many non-technical events.

Admission :

I gave the colleges names for allotment and allotted to this college which is under KTU. I took admission on the basis of the KEAM entrance examination. I got a rank of 41355. The admission process was all alright.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
