Likes

I liked the infrastructure of the college very much
The branches are divided very well. There is no confusion for anyone to approach any department likely the examination branch and the administration branch are different by which students won't have any confusion to approach them
I like the social groups in our college. Because of those groups many of the needy people are being helped

Dislikes

Some of the faculties don't teach well .
Few faculties show partiality if we have any argument with them they reflect it on our marks
Girls and boys both are not allowed to wear jeans

I chose CSE because I was interested in doing a software job. The faculty in my college are from MTech and PhD backgrounds. Few faculties teach well. It is tough to pass the exam without studying. If we prepare well we can pass the sem exams.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the counseling seat is 80000 and the management depends on year to year. If we get a seat through counseling we will get fee reimbursement from the Telangana government such that we have to pay only 45000.

Campus Life

Freshers and traditional days are mandatory fests. And every year one department will conduct a fest which will be held for a week. We have a Library with a decent ambiance with many books through which we can prepare for exams. We have projectors in our classrooms through which faculty explain the subject very deeply. every year in the month of Feb or March sports are conducted and are continued for a month. We have different types of clubs like coho,gdsc, science clubs and social groups like street cause, helping hands which are run by students itself.

Admission

Through eamcet entrance, we can apply for this college. We can get the admission details and fee details through the college website i.e. smec.ac.in. my rank was 50k and I got a seat in the CSE department from smec.

Good college with decent placements,but overhyped.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Circuulum is not so good but need to be imporoved a lot. The circulum doesn't prepare for real world job market,need to do a lot more. Ciruculum should be improved. EHave slip tests,mid exams,sens exams.

I think from 5 semister students are eligible for the campus placement . placements are quite good this year my super senior got a package of 43 lpa out side the college and average package is also good.amazon paypal and more like 50 percent of students are getting into a average package of 6 lpa .iam very interested in college placements i need to crack it

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good as of now. But can change a little bit becuase in 4 years we will have 8 sems and 40 subjects. Subjects should be divided in such a way that it should not get burden on the students. In some sems they will just 4 or 3 subjects that will effect other sems by having 7or 8 subjects at a time. That is really tough to clear all subjects at a time that may leave pressure on the students. And another suggestion in teaching methods was therotical class and practical class has to be done parallelly because if theory classes of particular topic has been completed in this week and pratical classes of that particular topic will be executed in some other week lab sessions. That may create confusion in students and there might get forgot what they have learnt in that week. If the theory and practical classes happened parallely they will gain hands on experience on how the things will work and they can understand more better.
