Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I studied for a diploma in mechanical engineering, as a continuation of the previous course I chose B tech of the same course. Faculty to student ratio in the multiplication of 1:2. Qualification of the Faculty ranges from M tech to PhD. Exams were on time and it's difficult to pass.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

It's affordable to study in this college compared to other IHRD Colleges / CAPE colleges. There are various types of scholarships would get from College line Egarntz and financial assistance provided depends on management. There is no campus job here.

Campus Life :

There is plenty of books in the library and you can refer to them. Annual Fest takes place in here on last month. Sports and ECA are doing accordingly to at their best. The college group here red group and many other groups come under different leaders to run the sports activities in the college.

Admission :

Actually, eligibility for this course is higher secondary education. But incase if you completed polytechnic you can come through writing the lateral entry exam (LET). Reservation is mainly for SC/ST/OEC students. If you are OBC/GENERAL you don't have that much of a reservation. By coming to fees it's 35k/year for regular students and for management it rises to 60k. For NRI fee is decided by the college according to KTU norms.

Placement Experience:

The placements are more than decent as you get many opportunities to land a job before graduation. Provided you don't have backpapers which most companies wouldn't want in their candidates. Service-based companies such as TCS and Accenture take loads of students per year and pretty high-end companies visit too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum mainly focuses on the technical side of the subject being an engineering course. Mathematical models play a significant role in developing and extrapolating the syllabus to application level. Life sciences are also there as core subjects and electives in higher semesters. It heavily encompasses the general relevant technical aspects of modern biotechnology too.
