- I like the college infrastructure and also liked the faculty members of our department,their supports and helping mentality.Also I like my course ,it's an hight values course and there by get good opportunity while after my graduation.
- I also like the Events conducted by the college ,the techfest is an amazing program and it's an really good program in our college
Dislikes
- I dislike the culture of our college like , partitioning boys and girls even in a program was conducted .
- They will not give time for conducting events in normal day hours ,they will only allow the clubs to take any events after 4 o clock ,and because of that many students will not able to attend the events conducted by gdsc and other clubs events.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am very interested and passionate about this course and that's why I chose this course as my professional degree. In Jyothi engineering college, The faculty members in Our department are so nice they teach very clearly and it is understandable by the students, the friendly behavior of each faculty member made our college life smooth. there are different faculty members there and many of them have completed their m.tech, and few of them have PhD. the exams are conducted by ktu and it's much difficult to pass the exams, but oru faculty members give notes and we study it and it helps to gain marks in our university exams.
Internships Opportunities :
There are no internship opportunities offered by this college. if we want to do an internship we want to search and go to that. this year they approved 6 month internship period, so we can go for an internship.
Placement Experience :
Campus place is offered by the college is S6 onwards, and because of this year's recession company's arrived is very less and there but many of the students couldn't get placements and all. The highest package visited in our college is SOTI, which offers 7.5LPA Some of the companies demand a 6 oru above cgpa for applying the placement, and some of the companies give their criteria about supply students cannot register in the placement drive. After getting my degree, I wish I had to get the placement through college in case I can't get that, I will go for my higher studies and build my career life.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee for this course is much greater, per sem they have been increasing some amount for various purposes of the college. I got an OBC grant for my study purposes, and I am attending placement drives but till I don't get a job.
Campus Life :
We have a tech fest called THARANG and it has so many programs conducted by various departments, it is mainly conducted in April, and May times. There is a Library for students for their reference, and journals so students can take books as per their choices, at exam times we can take the textbooks from the library Classroom is quite nice, with having projector and green boards are there. Arts fest are conducted by the college as different teams, and the students will participate and win the prizes as teams. Sports are also conducted the same as of the arts.GDSC is one of the clubs that are run by the students, it organized and events conducted by the core members of the team, I am the media lead of the team, so we will discuss the events and conducts the event in college for other students, many more clubs like IEDC, FOSS are there also doing activities, and like hackathons and all.
Admission :
I wrote the KEAM entrance exam and I got a government seat at Jyothi Engineering College, along with OBC grants for AI and data science courses. So it must consist of only 54 seats and our class is almost done with seats, the seats are distributed as management seats, and merit seats. I have already taken a seat in Mets Mala College, but they haven't this course in their college, so that's why I applied to this college.
