campus location ,it is based on the foot of mountains.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I was interested in computer science, I took this course in UPES. The faculty of my college are good, they support students in their work and provide projects, the teaching method of teachers are pretty good they use proper old school type style teaching methods. The exams are easy to pass if you have studied for them.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

basically, I'm in 1st-year student so i dont have many ideas about it but I can tell you that colleges provide internships to students who are eligible to do so. Faculty tells them projects that can be good for their career.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for campus placement after the 7th semester, recently Microsoft and Amazon came to campus and gave offers to students. the highest package was 50 lakhs and the average is 14-13 lakhs per annum.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of UPES had hiked 5% of the previous year's fees, UPES also provide scholarship up to 30% and give to according according to their jee mains or class 12th board score. UPES provides financial assistance to a student who faces problems in the fees section, company comes to campus for jobs.

Campus Life :

The annual fest is UURJA, it is conducted in November and this year 2023 Darshan Ravel is coming to perform. The library is good, the staff of the library is very good they help to find the exact book you need. There any many clubs running in colleges.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels provided by the college are good. 3-bed sharing room with common washroom. Meal quality is decent, not too good and not too bad, you can eat a meal. hostel registration process portal opens after the admission process is completed.

Hostel Fee : INR 175000 per year

Admission :

After my jee mains result I was not satisfied with my result, my Father advised me to look upon the UPES for admission, it took 1 day to complete my research, I was completely eligible for this college as they required only 60-70% marks in class 12th, and they take admission on the bases of jee mains score, the application form was easily available on their website, I took admission on the bases of jee mains score and got scholarship of 25% on the fees, I would suggest that in the admission process, they should inform the student about admission process regularly not on irregular time.

Honest review on GBPUAT

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for Placement is semester 7 and 8 which is 4th year. A number of companies visit the campus including HCL foundation, ICICI Bank, Mother Dairy, Godrej agrovet Ltd. Etc. I myself am thinking of going into research field so i'll have to do further studies in the same field.

The placement shows quantity but not quality, in my batch 60-70% students were placed with a highest package of 5lakh per annum and minimum package of 2.4 lakh. As per fees of college the average package seems low.

This college has quite good placements for CS students. The average package of the college is 7 lpa which is quite decent. Last year the highest package offered was of 68 lpa at Palo Alto. Remarks:

I chose this college women institute of technology which is in Dehradun because it is the only government College which is for girls and it gives them technical knowledge. The college is funded by many government schemes which are very beneficial for us. We have different seminars winners from course in other things also to increase our soft skills as well as other skills. Hair in my 4 year experience I have learnt a lot a lot of things. We get free coaching for MTech i.e GATE classes and other employability training programs and that too free of cost.
