Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen electronics and communication engineering as I have a keen interest in hardware computing and management. I have studied electronics in my 12th. Hence I have chosen ECE. We have one mid-sem exam and one endsem exam and labs, quizzes, etc. All faculties hold Ph.D.s in the institute. Talking about the ratio, the faculty-student ratio is about 1:25.
Placement Experience :
The placements are pretty good compared to other IIITs. The average package is about 12 lpa. Many companies like Nvidia, IBM, etc. come for placement in the core ECE branch. We can also get into product-based companies like Amazon, Oracle, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The total fees we pay for our course is around 14 lakhs. Fees are increasing year by year by 8-10%. It is a bit expensive than other private colleges but totally worth it. Right now there are no scholarships given by the institute. But they will provide guidance for scholarships and loans.
Campus Life :
There are many fests conducted on campus which are very good. There are many books present in the library which help in academics. Sports facilities are also good on the campus. We have facilities for kabaddi, badminton, cricket, football, volleyball, carrom, chess, and table tennis.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is provided by the institute to the students. Rooms are on a sharing basis and there are enough facilities in the hostel. Mess food is good. Laundromats and Wi-Fi facilities are there in the hostel itself.
Admission :
The admission is through JEE mains exam which is conducted at a national level. You can take the admission once the college selects you for the josaa counseling. There are some seats reserved for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PWD candidates.
