Great and experienced faculities members beautiful infrastructures cumpus hostels is one of tha best facilities between outher top privet college and comes to much more companies comparison to top ranked college in Odisha

Entrance Preview :

Through AIEEE I got the chance to opt for btech career and prosper in this field. I was selected through counselling process for this college and also I had a dream of studying in some good college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

We had 8 semesters all together which included 6 subjects followed by practicals and we had to score good marks in each of the subjects to qualify for the next semester.In ons semester 3 internals are there.Sometimes before the exam VST is conducted according to the BPUT partten.

Internships Opportunities :

es our college provides internship. Every year internship fair is held so that students gets internship and explore themselves and gain lots of experience. Mostly start-up comes to hire interns from our college.

Placement Experience :

Placement & job opportunities are very good. In this year as many students pass out but before that they will place at good salary. In each year placement rate is gradually increasing.Many software as well as core comapnies iis conducted placement drive. Students are placed in companies like Hexaware,Global Soft,Cavvision,Simplex infra etc..

College Events :

College organize many events for youth. These events not for only college students also for Inter school students. But College mainly focus on the technical events bcoz every students participate in technical event and show their research work. Which is most important for college. College also organize musical events for students by the famous Singers.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

From my point of view, the college fee is average . Private colleges in other parts of the country is charge much more .College fees can also given through installation scheme.Scholarship can also provided to the poor background students.Fee structure is little bit expensive now. In our time we have to give ₹81000 per year as academic fee only and then hostel fees are extra somewhat upto ₹59000.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes,It is also a part of the university curriculum.Students are doing intern ship program by many good companies like Infosys,TCS,simplex,NTPC,HAL,RSP...... Yes loan facility is available here.SBI branch is within the campus.

Campus Life :

Campus is great. If i would say about gender ratio, boys are more. Sports events are done good here. Also various competitions takes place often, in the field of robotics,debates and much more. Basically gender ratio is approx 60:40.A cricket ground ,volly ball court and also gym fascility is there

Hostel Facilities :

The infrastructure of the college is good, good wi-fi campus, AC labs, 24 * 7 library facility, provide indoor and outdoor games facility, hostel is good but food quality is average, attractive classroom's, there is also facility for medical, all are good.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network is so much strong.several alumni meet is occurred throughout the years. Students themselves stay in touch with their batch mates, seniors, and juniors.Several alumuni meet occur through different state through the year.

Exam Structure :

The exam structure was different during our time. Now it has been changed and made easier for the students. Now more emphasis is given on objective type questions and on lab marks rather than the conventional paper. And also the difficulty level is reduced.

Admission :

OJEE or JEE mains are the entrance examinations that you can take to get into this college. Admission procedure is very simple once you get a rank card from these exams. Directly pay fees and provide required documents and you are done.In the begining orientation program was held to welcome the students.

Faculty :

Yes, teachers are very helpful to clear your doubts, teachers are well qualified and have a good experience of teaching. Teaching quality is nice. There is a good industry exposure and get to learn a lot from it. The student-faculty ratio is 1:50. the course curriculum is used to get good marks in the university exam.

7th semester students are eligible for the placement criteria . Average company are visiting our college the provide decent package of 3-10 lakh . Highest package offer is 10 lakh this Year. 98% of students are placed this year. My plan is to do private job as a software engineer.

KIIT- The Real Truth Of College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is similar to all the colleges. but the extra curricular facilities provided by the college, differen societies present in differen domain will help you in growing your skills and knowledge in your sector. College keep organising tech fest, alumini meet, and global awareness meeting to keep the students up to date with present world. Course curriculum can be improved, I personally think, many new elective subjects are added which are not beneficial for my stream CSE.And the attendace is very compulsury for getting ood marks. Smart Boards and White Board teaching ares used which depends on teacher's choice. There is normally two exams in a semester , midsem of 20 marks in time 1hr 30 min, and endsem exam of 50 marks in 3 hr, and the rest marks depend on subject faculty. Mostly examination level is normal , if you are good student you can cover the syllabus in 1 week before exam.

Good facilities that needs to be grabbed.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario for now it not that good. There is regression going on so the companies aren't taking that many students. From the 3rd year you are eligible for placements. 450 companies came this year for placements making 5200 job offers. The highest placement this year was 63 lacs by Yugabyte. Average CTC is 8.5 lacs in all streams. Mass recruiters like Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Mindtree, Bosch, Ericsson, IBM etc. Many other notable companies that visited are Bain & Company, CME group, DE shaw & co, JP Morgan Chase etc. According to kiit website, 90% students are placed. 2100 students also got internships via capstone route. My plans after getting the degree is to do a job for some years and then after getting some experience I want to do a startup.
