Course Curriculum Overview :

My primary preference was CSE and then IT. I was offered IT based on my marks in the entrance examination. Getting CSE is a bit tough. Curriculum wise both cse and IT are on the same page. The student-faculty ratio is 65:1.The faculty here is very experienced everyone holds a doctorate and the graduates if highly reputed alumni. The faculty here are very interested in research works most of them are collaborating with IIT Madras Ecell. There will be 2 termly exams called CAT ie continuous assessment test.

Placement Experience :

To be very honest the placements are pretty good for CSE and IT departments. I would say that placements are even good for other departments if they would like to get into software companies. but it and cse will be given higher priority. Core jobs in the other departments are difficult to get in but there are high chances of securing a good job if we are good at our skills. Around 30 companies visit. The highest package for offered was 78 lakhs CTC for the IT department 98%placement in (IT and CSE departments). The average package was 12 lpa.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Especially SSN supports students from rural areas. It is not height to cost. In the 3rd year, we will be having a campus internship drive where we get a lot of opportunities to get into good companies which offer decent stipends.

Campus Life :

The most awaited fest of SSN is instincts. It is the most beautiful fest that everyone craves. There are tech fests like Invented and Laksha. Where students can exhibit their technical and entrepreneurship skills.

Hostel Facilities :

There is a wide range of rooms. Shared with 3, single, single ac, single with attached washroom, single ac with attached washroom. The mess food is not so great but it can be managed with the canteen and cafeteria on the campus, unfortunately. The registration process of hostels can be done during the fee payment only.

Admission :

The admission process was so smooth to be very precise. Initially, we will be shortlisted based on the cutoff marks of our 12th grade. After that, there will be an entrance examination which has two papers they are aptitude and another paper with maths, physics and chemistry questions. They are easy and tricky at the same time. If we are selected they send us an email for the next process which is an interview. The fee structure can be seen in the official site SSN and if any queries we can contact the officials by phone

I choose this course because i had more interest in computer field and i wanted to learn and gain more knowlege in the field of computer science. Here in this college there are very minimun students and staff compared to othe colleges. In this college the faculty members are well qualified. The exam were conducted in very strict manner and it was not an easy job to get pass in the examinations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If u study for ur internal exams or mid some people call as if u get well prepared in that then it is easy to clear sem exams because if college is not an autonomous paper is not easy as expected so u have to study and understand the whole concept u will be having our staff support more.
