Remarks :

PDPU is one of the best institutes for engineering in Gujarat. The environment here is great and students get a wholesome learning experience.

Entrance Preview :

We have to appear for JEE mains and 12th board examinations. The score will be made by the cummulative marks of both Examination and you'll get called after filling the form for PDPU according to your merit.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Mechanical is a fast growing field in India, there is alot of job opportunities in this field. Lab sessions are conducted in out college for practical knowledge, lab Examinations are also held every semester and is taken very seriously.

Internships Opportunities :

College does provide internship in college third year for better practical knowledge. Stipend amount is about 3-5K. Internships are interesting, we get to learn alot.

Placement Experience :

Petroleum (B.Tech) has average placement of about 6-7 LPA (75% get placed). If you are in it for placement,60-70 out of 104 and the Participating companies were Reliance, Essar, GSFC, GNFC, Cairn, GSPC Gas etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Tuition Fees is: 1,34,000 per year Hostel fees: 63,000 per year Mess fees: 39,000 per year I'd say the fees is quite high for the course.

Faculty :

Faculties are well versed with what they are teaching. They hold degrees from various prestigious institutions across the country like IITs and NITs etc. They are very supportive as well as guide us properly. It was never an issue to take up anything new as they always encouraged in all activities. Teachers bring PowerPoint presentation for better understanding.

Placement Experience:

From 8 semester students are eligible for campus placements. Well-known chemical industries like JB chemicals, Sun Pharma, Ami polymers, Jubilant, Aditya Birla etc. The highest package was about 4.5 lakh for chemical engineering was offered. About 97 percent of students got placed.
