Likes

Behaviour of some teachers!. They are very helpful. Whenever we need any help about studies, they help.
Library Room has proper light and AC connection.

Dislikes

They should let us access computers in library.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had no other choice left at that time, so I chose this course. Right now I just want to complete my graduation with a good CGPA. I want to learn more skills, I think college should think about this. Faculties are well enough.

Class Size: 300Course Fees: INR 5935 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I personally think that the fee structure is high in Barrackpore Rastraguru Surendranath College. In these fees, they should provide better education or invest in curriculum activities. I don't get any Financial help from College. I got a national scholarship.

Campus Life

As I said before, They invest in every little fest and game & call media blah blah. In the Arts building, they have books in the library but not enough. They should update the journal on a regular basis. They don't allow BA general students to access computers. It would be very helpful if they did so. There is a cultural group in college but the college doesn't provide musical instruments.

Admission

The college needs to give a chance to UR also. There is not enough seat for UR for better courses. The college needs to help newcomers by clearing their doubts during the admission process. They don't even allow newcomers to enter in college premises until classes start

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum and faculty members are good. I chose this because English is my favourite subject.Also it you study English there are lots of opportunities present here. Student ratio is 100-120 student per department.There are 26 courses available The faculty is very standard.Teaching Method is very good because attendence is strictly followed by our college.One of the reasons teachers are committed to us .They try their level best to teach us in short time.There are projectors also used in our classes.Overall it is satisfactory. Every term exam happens in 6 months. It is very difficult to pass those exams.As our college is under VIDYASAGAR UNIVERSITY,so questions are set by them.Thats why exams are very difficult to pass.

I wanted to explore the CS stream from the beginning so I joined this program. The faculty: student ratio in BA is good and is around 1:7. All the teachers are well equipped and have complete knowledge of the subjects they are teaching. The exams were difficult as compared to the SPPU endsem exams, but that is expected from a college of such repute.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosen this course because of interest in the field of Information techn...ugy. Faculties are very good and they have good teaching experience. Qualification for the faculty is 7 to 8 years teaching experience and degree of PHD. Term exams held two times ever year. Difficulty is moderate.
