Detailed Review of life at IIT BHU.

Dislikes

  • The first thing which i disliked about the campus is it a open campus.
  • The reason behind IIT BHU to be a open campus is there are some temples inside the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because computer science and engineering are now a time very popular. And best placement option is also present in computer science and engineering courses. Our professors are very good and they teach us very well.

Internships Opportunities :

Doubtnut, content development, 20k per month. Atom, Android intern, 15k per month. Shree Cement, Machine learning Exam,10k per month. MTX, Software Development Engineer, 60k per month. Subex, Data Science, 40k per month.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Many opportunities to take scholarships in this college. The college fee for this IIT is 72000 and I don't know if any campus jobs are present or not in our college because we came to this college recently. So, many opportunities are present in our college no doubt.

Campus Life :

There are many types of festivals, The annual festival is very nice and DJ night, many programs are present in our college every small typical program also take in our college. Our college campus life is very good no doubt. The library has good stocks of books.

Hostel Facilities :

Our rooms in the hostel are decent but very congested for three people to accommodate. The meal quality of IIT BHU is very good. The registration process for a hostel is simple and you can complete it during addmission.

Admission :

Eligibility, of course, has many types and many categories have many cutoffs present to addmission in colleges. At first, we filled out Jee's application form and gave the exam we qualified and then we gave Jee advanced which also qualified. Then josaa counseling through we take admission to IIT BHU.

4the year students are eligible to sit for the placements. Placements here are not so good frankly speaking and one who wants a good placement needs to apply for off campus placements. Average package here is somewhat 4lpa and highest be at 12lpa. I am a 2nd year student and planning to give gate exam for better placement scenario.

College provide very less opportunities and their is no mass hiring companies came at campus they only take students via all india entrances and all, and if you failed to get placement you only apply off campus and campus doesn't help you to get employed.

The students can start applying for college placements from 7th semester onwards. Various companies visit for placement opportunities. The highest package was 24L for one year. The percentage of students getting college placements is very low considering the competition in this field. My plans are to join the army, but keeping the engeneering field as a backup.
