Remarks

If it is for architecture don't join anywhere else in Mysore. This is college with good atmosphere and well facilitated everywhere.

Entrance Preview

U either have to score well in NATA or get 15 lakhs ready for a management seat in this college. ME doing B.Arch in this college, got admitted here through payment seat.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college offer only Architecture courses. B.Arch is one of most trending courses in this developing generation and has more scope. The chances of getting a job is quite high through this branch.

Internships Opportunities

There is no internship in this course it is true practice that we learn here and that is our only internship it is a continuous process of working and practicing and studying all together.

Placement Experience

Placements are that well though. Maybe 40% of them might get through campus selections. The course is precious one and surely is a good future for those who have done this and now running their own construction business.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I don't know about NATA fee but payment seat will almost cost you over 3 lakhs per year. NATA fee might be 50k and additional college fee upto 40k.

Course Curriculum Overview:

You'll indulge in a lot of painting and are related stuff. Well since Architecture is not only about art, there are subjects which will use up your brain cells. You also get to go to study trips too! The ride is not smooth- everyday would be a submission day , everyday would be a love-hate relationship with the course. Internal reviews,external reviews, viva and jury, presentation and assignments, written exams...theyre enough to keep you busy throughout. Since its Affiliated to vtu, the system does seem not so updated to date. You cannot expect to have a month of holidays after each Semester too. Dont dream of having a pleasant vacation break.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is more condensed that other colleges', so it makes it easier to tackle multiple things at once. The course prepares us for real world applications through their dual internship program, which is a strong point in their curriculum. If the course in itself had more real world applications, instead of very superficial ideas, it would be more helpful The exams are a hurdle, but it comes with the rigor of the course, and it is something students end up adapting to over the course of 5 years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you check with other colleges the approach to the curriculum is different and more fun. The process of learning is more fun and appealing making us satisfied of what we have done at the end. Sometimes we don't get how the teachers are expecting us to do our assignments but we figure it out some how. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-sem and end-sem).

My College Sucks

Placement Experience:

Since our HOD changed this year, I'm not sire about when the placements are available, most probably would be for the 5th year students so 9th sem onwards. Not sur3 about which companies either, highest package would be 8000 I'm guessing, we don't get paid much. My plan is to switch courses, this was absolutely useless to me :)

Comprehensive review of architecture curriculum

Placement Experience:

After 10 semester Students are eligible for placements. Yes,from last year they iffer on campus placements with highest package of 11 lakhs which is really good according to this course. average package is around 6 lakhs which is also decent. 15 out of 30 students could get the placements that is 50 percent. I am planning to pursue masters degree outside India after this course

One of the top architecture college in Mysore

I applied to the college based on my score in the National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA). I also appeared in the JEE Main paper 2. However, the NATA score been good then JEE Main paper 2 so I said for the NATA counselling. I was allotted a seat in the institute in spot counselling.
