Course Curriculum Overview

My Course Curriculum consists of 4 years of study with 8 semesters and every semester consists of 2 assignments and 2 internal exams and at last we have semester exams. The ratio of faculty: students is good, for every subject we have 2 teachers.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 470000 per year

Internships Opportunities

If you have the skills from the start then you can earn the benefits of an internship from the very 1st year. There are various types of internships that you can get, they even give you the opportunity to learn from different places like COURSERA, and NPTEL so that you can have the experience for internships.

Placement Experience

From 3rd Year we can get the opportunity for sitting in placement and the average package is 4 lakhs and almost 98% of students get placement in MNC companies. Companies like AMAZON, TCS, CAPGEMINI, COGNIZANT, etc visit us and choose us.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have a fee package of 4 lakhs and 70 thousand which is a very reasonable price for this college and compared to others. We can also avail of scholarships like SVMCM, OASIS, KANYASHREE, and many others. We also get time-to-time internship offers for every level.

Campus Life

We have a physical and digital library with a large variety of books in it. We have flipped classrooms with AC fitted inside them. There are various types of club that regularly organizes various campaigns and other things. In recent we have had our Cultural Fest "majestic 2k23".

Admission

I was admitted to this college via WBJEE counseling with my rank of 34026 in CST and then opted for CSE in Mop-up round. I have admitted through General Quota with no reservation benefits and the admission process was so smooth the behavior of the admission in charge was so good.

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

My College Life tour can never be described in words but through emotions

To get into Engineering college we have to sit for either JEE Mains or WBJEE after clearing any of this, the rank will get you into sny of this course. During Couselling I got into AOT in Adisaptagram. But the distance from my house is quite far so my parents wanted me to get into any nearby college. So when I took admission in JIS College of Engineering, I got in with my WBJEE rank. The admission process went quite well.
