Remarks :

this college is best suitable for the overall development of the students, we have enough exposure to all the new world equipments for the civil engineering, The campus is good and a good food facility is also provided in the college canteen.

Entrance Preview :

Entrance exam, I wrote Karnataka entrance exam and I got a decent ranking around 35254, for my ranking in wanted to do civil engineering so i had applied the college wise sorting in the online portal so that’s how I landed up in this college, there was no interview process I directly got the admission through CET, I was interested in designing roads, the bridges, the geothermal subjects that’s y i took up this course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course was very good it included the environmental subjects, geothermal theories, structural mechanics etc; it was fun studying these subjects, The college has good laboratory facilities and everything is well equipped, our department has the necessary labs to carry out the research activities.

Internships Opportunities :

The internships have to be done by the students; college supports the students to take up internships in different companies, I did not attend any internships till now, i don’t have any idea regarding the stipend amount, but my seniors say only few companies give the stipend amount for the internships.

Placement Experience :

Placement is a main issue for the civil engineers in our college we don’t get much core companies coming for the hiring for our branch, most of the IT branch get a very good placement, Companies which visited are Ebay, Flipkart, Bandary builders etc; seniors got an package around 4 lakhs per annumm.

College Events :

There are lots of festivals celebrated in our college like ganesh chaturthi, and yearly once we have the technical events happening in our college, and someof the cultural events happen in our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

My fees was 46k for one year in addition to this the college fees was 20k, the extra fees was included in the college fees, Other than these fees we had to pay the money for the workshops and extra programmes held in our college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes college provides lots of scholarships and it is given to all the needy students like merit holders, the OBC, SC, ST and the other government scholarships are given to the necessary students.

Campus Life :

In terms of extra curricular our college stands in an average position, but yes for college day and all, the college gives enough funds to make it in a grand way.

Hostel Facilities :

The college hostel is very good, literally a spiritual college so the hostel students don’t have non-vegetarian food, only vegetarian but the food provided is very good and is healthy. There are 3 and 4 sharing rooms, PG’s are outside the college i don’t know much about the rental for the PG’s.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes there is a alumni network in our college, where the outgoing seniors have to pay the alumni fees, we have the alumni meet usually once in a year.

Exam Structure :

There are totally three internals conducted by the college all the internals are chilled culture we usually have two subjects per day, for labs we have in the end one internal and next is directly external exams.

Faculty :

Speaking about faculties all are very good with M.tech degree and only the HOD’s have the P.hD degree and MISTE, everyone is good they interact with the students and keep healthy relationship with the students, the standard of teaching is also very good, they give us ideas and encourage us to do lots and lots of projects in the UG level.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. From 3 rd year, students are eligible to sit in the placements. Most IT companies visit the college like Accenture, TCS, Amazon, cognizant, etc. Few core companies also came like Texas instruments, kpit, global foundries, Bosch, etc. The average package is 4.5 LPA and the highest is 22 LPA for my branch. 60% of people in my department got placement.

Honest truth of Rajarajeswari college of engineering

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the final year. A few companies visited when I was studying about 12-15 MNCs companies visited all were product-based and I think the highest package was 7.5 LPA. As the Corona pandemic started college was closed and companies didn't visit afterward. There is less number of companies visiting our college all are looking more for Cs graduates less or no EC core companies visit. I am planning to pursue M tech
