GGV:- Should I take or Not

Dislikes

  • I donot have any particular reason of disliking college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course Curriculum is similar to other colleges. National Education Policy is already implemented in college, starting from the 2022 batch. Faculty members of each department are really polite and good but I personally feel according to reviews from students of another branch that my branch faculties are better than others. I choose this branch due to my keen interest and my rank. The student ratio is very poor. Each Faculty is well qualified. Most of them have already completed their PhD. In each sem, there are 2 CT exams and 1 end semester. If you study well you can pass the exam easily and the teacher ask relevant questions that they teach in class.

Placement Experience :

The placement of the college is average. The average package is around 7-8lpa. 7 and 8th-semester students are eligible for placement. Each year around 20 company visit the college. The highest package is around 30lpa on campus and the average is around 8 lpa. 80% of students are getting placed. My plan after my degree is to pursue IES

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As it is a central university, the fee is very less as compared to NITs, IITs, and IIITs. The four years of btech costs around 1 lakh 10 thousand for the college fee. Normally fee hike is around 1%-2% after a few years. You can opt for the National scholarship program, and some good companies come to college and give better placements.

Campus Life :

Campus life is very chill and nice. The campus is evergreen and beautiful. Infrastructure is good but not that much. But now a new building for each department is in progress and already so many are completed. So infrastructure will improve in upcoming 1 yr. Equilibrio is Tech fest of btech. And each department has its own tech fest. Mostly they are conducted in the month of March, April. There are two libraries in the college. One is departmental which is for btech and the other is central which is for each department. Almost every book is present in college. The classrooms are good. Smart boards are available in the classroom. There are two sports grounds and different sports courts for different games. There are so many technical and non-technical clubs. All are run by students and have a good environment.

Admission :

In btech students can take admitted through JOSAA and CSAB counselling. Also, colleges have a special round known as university-level Spot counselling, students can take admission through that. For spot counselling, students can find the application form on the website of GGV. Yes, students can avail of different types of reservations based on category. I personally feel spot admission to GGV is a very nice, completely transparent process.

Other Applied Colleges

National Institute of Technology - [NIT] | Bachelor of Science [BS] + Master of Science [MS] (Chemistry)

Because i want to do btech.

Placement Experience:

• Students get eligible placements from their fifth semester i.e their 3rd-year middle. • Many famous companies like Wipro Amazon Google cloud etc come to offer placements. • Over 80 companies come to offer employment for nearly 800 students in a year. The same situation can be seen electrical department. • The highest average package announced as per the company is above 10 lacs per annum and the profiles offered are to the talented bright students. • Nearly 65 % of the students are placed every year. • I would like to appear for Gate and go for a public sector job in my core subject i.e the Electricity department.

Placement Experience:

You will never get the full details and correct stats from any college about their campus placement. All you will know is from your seniors. And what I heard is that from now on good campus placement have started. Still, not more than 10% can get satisfied campus placements. But not to worry because nowadays we have opportunities to get placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements are fair. Several classes, our taken to crack the interview round and to make us industry-ready. Well, known companies like CTS, TCS, ITC Infosys, Amazon etc do conduct their place drives in this college. Students have to work hard to crack core companies as very few of them visit our college.
