Course Curriculum Overview :

I have chosen b.com in accounting & finance. And later I will do a master's in accounts. The faculty members are too supportive of this college. They support and guide students in every step of life and give motivation. The faculty members are highly qualified & well knowledge. Also, the exams Are held in 3 months to check the proper knowledge of the students.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 10000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

It is a government-subsidised College so the fee structure of this college is quite low. The total fees of 3 years will cost around 30,000 so that one can easily afford it. But if one belongs to the BPL family then their fees would be 650 per semester.

Campus Life :

The college organises various fests over the year. The college conducts sports week which has both indoor & outdoor games. There is also a common room for both boys and girls to sit and read books and do whatever they want in the free period. The classes are air conditioned for b.com. it also has nss, ncc, and various extracurricular activities.

Admission :

The eligibility criteria are too good for this college. All the students who have cleared their 12th examination with at least 55 percent will be eligible to apply for this college. This year admission process was made fair to all by the government. An online admission portal has been launched this year e-Samarth. They will have to first log in to this portal and can apply for all the colleges they want to apply to all over Assam on a single website. and if in that college the merit list comes it will be shown on that website too.

Good for b.com

Admission:

Till my time admission process was totally offline. One need to fill the form and submitted to the college. Merit list is made on the basis of marks obtained in class 12th. Admission is only given on the merit basis.

Placement Experience:

Placement record of this college is quite poor. Although this college only provide general degree courses. There is Not much seen of on campus placement and job offer provide are not very good. Due to this reason many student go for MBA.

College under Gauhati University

Admission:

Getting admission in our college is quite simple one has to make application in offline mode by filling in the detailed application form which is available at the reception of the college along with the prospectus. After submission of the application you have to wait for the approval of college. Once the admission is approved you are required to complete the formalities like submission of fees and document verification. Nowadays admission application is also available online. One reason for opting for this college was that it was close to my residence and was popular in our district.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a placement and recruitment related help centre for Students. However when it comes to getting the students placed with good job packages the institute has almost nothing to offer. A student is on his own for jobs and internships and the college only provides the academic knowledge and degree certification.

I got admission into this college through 10+2 marks. You need to Collect the form from the college itself,fill it up submit it with self attested marksheet and 2 pass port size photographs. Also bring the minorities certificate (if applicable)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course of B.com here is average and better known for arts degree. There are internal exams and end semester exams.You can submit the paper for scrutiny but not for re-evaluation. The college provides bachelor's degree in arts and commerce.
