- The facility and infrastructure is very good at the college .
- Library and computer labs are also very good and the college campus is fully under cctv .
Dislikes
- There is so much discrimination between boys and girls. Two student a boy and a girl cannot talk in college as its against there law.
- Even the canteen is different for boys and girls.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My interest was in Maths so I choose to opt for a Bachelor of science in mathematics. The faculties here are well-qualified, and all the teachers are assistant professors here. All the teachers are from IITs and NITs. The teaching method of teachers is also very good. There are 2 semesters per year. The examination level was somehow tough as it is a hons mathematics course.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship opportunity in the college is very good. Students usually get an internship opportunity in the fifth semester. They can choose on their own where they want to go for an internship. Certificates are provided after the internship program.
Placement Experience :
Placement on the college campus is good. Students can go for an internship in the 5th semester and at the end of the semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Approx. 10 companies visit the college per year. The highest package in last year was 12 LPA and the average package is of 4LPA. Around 70% of students got placed. My plan after this is an IIT jam.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is Rs60,500/- per year which you have to pay two times. Rs 40,000/- for the odd semester and Rs20,500/- for the even semester. No hidden charges other than this. The scholarship is based on the 12th percentile. Students who are 80 % and above can get a scholarship.
Campus Life :
There is a fest in the month of April. The college library is outstanding you will find almost all the books which you will be seeking for your college exams and other knowledge purpose. There is NCC in the college and sports competition is there every year of cricket, football, volleyball, athletic games, etc. There are so many groups on the social media platforms Instagram by the name RPS college.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel comprises three types. Ordinary hostel:- in which you will get only a fan. Its fee is 85,000/- per year. Cooler hostel:- cooler will be provided in this hostel. Its fee is 95,000/- per year. AC hostel:- Ac will be provided in this hostel. Its fee is 1,20,000/- per year. Food is the same for every student and food quality I will give 8/10. You have to come to campus for hostel registration. There are 2 seater and 3 seater rooms in which you will be provided a bed, study table chair and almirah locker. You will not be provided with the mattress and bedsheet.
Admission :
It is a private college. You can get addmission both online and offline. For online admission, you can visit RPS Degree College, and for offline admission, you can visit the college campus. It is a very simple process.
