A Positive Experience at JGU

JSGP has an amazing economics curriculum. I can actually see how economic theory ties in with the practical aspects of policymaking. I analyze the seminal texts on macroeconomics, microeconomics, and econometrics. In addition, i love the ability that i get to choose elective clusters such as development economics. The entire four year course is designed in such a way that critical thinking comes naturally to me. It enables me to develop superb analytical skills, which are crucial for interpreting global market data and writing strong research papers.

I am extremely pleased about the credit based internship that is a part of our university. I have already completed my summer internship and am getting ready for the winter one. Our faculty helps us resource such internship opportunities. Being an economics major, my focus remains on corporate settings and private companies, along with finance houses. Recently, i made a presentaition on my internship experience at a college seminar.

The thing is, i feel exceptionally confident about my career because of our good connections with the institutions. Our graduates manage to get excellent jobs as economic analysts, corporate strategists, and financial consultants. We have the career department, which is assisting me with connecting to various corporate and research companies around the world. They run thorough interview preparation workshops. It ensures my readiness for the job market after graduation.

I understand the financial burden of pursuing my education at this institute, but i feel it's completely worth it. My fee includes state of the art facilities, laboratories, and good placement options. In addition to that, i have also applied for merit based scholarships provided by the university, which cater to a diverse range of financial background of students. Luckily for me, i have been able to get my scholarship easily. to me, pursuing this level of education here in India is worth every penny.

Nothing is simple about this big campus. Everything is super active and vibarnt. I usually study all the time, but when i have some free time, i just chill with my friends or spend some time in common areas. I have also joined the arts and music clubs and take part in various campus activities, which add to the fun. Living in this place is like living in a small village where you find it very easy to make friends from different places.

I found the whole admission process to be extremely clear, professional, and organized. i applied for the form by myself through the university's website. I think it is good that the administration clearly advises students not to use any consultants or admission agents. The staff helped me go through the procedure easily and without any problems.

I feel motivated by the high class mentoring i get at JSGP. Though my professors are highly engaged in conducting global research, they are highly accessible to me and assist me in my independent studies and research papers.

I feel quite comfortable moving around the campus at night. I frequently go out with my friends to the food stalls and tuck shops that operate late into the night in campus. We spend time together chatting about our homework or just listening to others performing music. The paths are well lit, and there is 24/7 security. This makes it easy for everyone to just realx under the floodlights after a long day.
