Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this choice because I had a core interest in CSE. Here we have an excellent faculty-student ratio that is 9: 1. The faculties and the tutors are highly qualified and had studied at renowned universities and did their Ph.D. there. The teaching method depends upon the faculty, some have old methods, and some have new methods. Timely exams are held every 1.5 months and are not so difficult.

Class Size : 151Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships can be availed after completing the 4th and 6th semesters. There are several companies that give internships which can be seen at the site of IIT Kanpur's SPO. There are research, growth, and industry internships with stipends as high as 28 Lakhs per internship.

Placement Experience :

From the 6th semester, they become eligible for campus placement. There are many companies that visit IIT Kanpur that can be checked at the site of the college. highest package is 4.2 crore and avg package is 33.5 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees here are like every other tier 1 college, but almost every student has a scholarship, being it due to low family income and also because of high cpi and jee rank. Campus jobs are very rare but we can always do certain internships.

Campus Life :

I Liked The Campus Life Here Like Everything Is Here In This 1150 Acre Campus. I Like The Facilities They Provide To Students Like The CC, Library, Etc I Like That Things Happen Here Very Formally. I Dislike That Academics Are A Bot Tougher Than Other IITs.

Hostel Facilities :

Rooms are 2 and 3 sitter. For 3 people, we have 2 Almira 2 tables 2 chairs 3 beds 1 mirror, and 2 small tables. The mess food is not much good like every other college, you will get bored in a while. We register once and then pay according to our consumption after every month.

Hostel Fee : INR 15000 per year

Admission :

The admission process is done through JOSAA counseling based on your JEE Advance rank. I gave JEE in 2022, and the cut-off for the course was rank 237. If you qualify in advance, then you are qualified for the course if you have that or a better rank. The application form can be found online.

4the year students are eligible to sit for the placements. Placements here are not so good frankly speaking and one who wants a good placement needs to apply for off campus placements. Placement Experience:

The students can start applying for college placements from 7th semester onwards. Various companies visit for placement opportunities. The highest package was 24L for one year. The percentage of students getting college placements is very low considering the competition in this field. My plans are to join the army, but keeping the engeneering field as a backup.
