Remarks
To be eligible for the process, one needs to score more than 88 percentile in CAT/XAT and can also get a call at more than 82 percentile if one's profile is good or one has applied for their non-flagship program. Application forms can be found on the site when forms are open and fees are also mentioned there and the last date would be also given there. It's a private college, so no reservations. The admission process was smooth, after getting a call for the PI process, one can select the date and time for the process and this time it was online, so more accessible. The improvement I would want to see would be- When the results of admission was out, some student were given admission, some were given waitlist for which we have to pay 75k and some students were kept on hold, which means no communication to them where they stand in the whole process and this induces ambiguity about their admission. This is the area of the admission process, which I want to get improved.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the PGDM course. As in this, I would be able to study all the areas of business administration in the first year and accordingly could choose my preferred specialization in the next year. The faculty are here highly qualified. One of them has prepared a case study for Havard. Many have years of experience in their field. And the teaching methodology is unique to each, which I personally liked. It's a trimester, so thrice a year.
Internships Opportunities
I am taking admission this year so not that well versed with the internship with the experience and the process. But I am well versed in the statistics of SIP. Average stipend- 74800, Highest- 280000. Top recruiters were Barclays, Crisil, Kotak, and many more.
Placement Experience
The placements are quite good. Students become eligible for placements after 4th semester. There were many companies visited such as Accenture, Adani, Asian paints and many more and there was 100+ number of recruiters. The highest package offered was 50 Lakhs and the average package was 16.84 lakhs. The profiles offered were ASM, Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, and many more. My plans after getting the degree are to use it to the fullest and broaden my horizons.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the PGDM course is 20,19,000. The ROI is quite okayish. And the cost of the hostel and food is separate and the students are not necessarily required to stay in the campus hostel which somewhere affects networking. The scholarship is for EWS students. Those who are selected for this scholarship, are waived off their tuition fees, which is a good percentage of the total fees.
Campus Life
The campus is not big here. Still, we have good greenery here and space to spend time. The annual fest celebrated here is Kritva. Many kinds of books are available in the library. Many case studies are available which make you familiar with the curriculum. The classes are well-equipped. We have those curved tables, sufficient lighting, ceiling-fitted ACs, and a projector. There are quite a few activities like basketball, cricket. There are currently 9 social groups and various clubs and committees and majorly are handled by student bodies.
Interview Experience
I faced PI in my interview process. There was no Group Discussion and Written Ability Test. The interview went on for about 30 minutes. One interview was grilling me on each and every point that brought down my self-confidence. Else everything was nice. I took coaching for my preparation, and despite not-so-good interviews, I was selected on the first waitlist.
