Remarks :

The college was previously at worli. This year in September it has shifted to ulhasnagar. So now it has a new and bigger campus, new building, new labs but the teachers are the same.Some are really good while on or two may make your life difficult. But ultimately its up to you. If you behave well, attend practicals at least then your life at this college will be much much easier. Overall the teachers are quite understanding and student friendly.

Entrance Preview :

I gave the MH CET entrance examination. With not a great score and not wanting to compromise my choice of field, I landed up in this college. There was no interview process. I was interested in CS . So chose this course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As it is MU affiliated, the course curriculum will not be that great. There are some subjects which are of utnost importance such as data structures, analysis of algorithms, AI, but the knowledge and content is not up to the mark. But its fair enough for a kickstart in this field.

Internships Opportunities :

No great opportunities as such for internship. You will have to find out on your own.

Placement Experience :

Approximately 70% students got placed from those who very eligible for placements. Major companies such as Infosys, L&T, Atos, BNP Paribas, Reliance Jio, Reliance Retail among the many visited the campus. Average package was around 3.2 lakh per annum.

College Events :

Ensemble was the culture event where dancing, singing, skits and all were performed. Every year Mr. Niranjan Hiranandani visited the event and gave his words of wisdom. Event took place at the college auditorium and was managed by the college teachers and students in unison.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The duraction of this course is 4 years and fees per year is around 1.15 lakh

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

It did provide fees waiver to 3-4 out of 70 students based on their income. They come under TFWS category. I did not avail any scheme.

Campus Life :

Good extra curricular in general. We had a football team, a cricket team and had participated in many inter college events.

Hostel Facilities :

There are no hostel rooms at this college.

Alumni/Alumna :

No platform for student alumni interaction. You need to do that yourself by using Facebook or linked in and get in touch with them.

Exam Structure :

You may write a lot of exams over the course of 4 years. But you wont be under pressure all the time. Start of the semester will be very chill. As the final semester will approach, you ll start being on your toes with assignments ,submissions etc.

Faculty :

One thing I can say for sure is that if you are good student in the college and if your impression is really good, then the teachers will really try their best to help you at anything. If you take interest in learning, the teachers will do nothing but encourage you. Overall its fairly decent.

WHY YOU SHOULD NOT TAKE ADMISSION IN YCCE?

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester the students are allowed to sit in placements The companies like TCs And capegeminis is common for mass recruitment and new companies like Accenture also visisted And total 200+ offers were made in placements Highest package this year was 21 lakhs in IT sector and the average package is 3-4 lakhs. Only 60% students get placed. I am going to do business after graduation as i dont trust college as it would give me placement

Our beautiful College

Placement Experience:

From the third-year sixth semester our college taking campus placement or internship programs. In the past, our college has got an average of 4 LPA packages and the highest 12 or 14 LPA packages. There are so many companies like TCS, COGNIGENT, WIPRO, etc. Our College gives 95-98% placement in engineering. My plan is to do a job in a data scientist post in the company and give my best to that company that's all.

Is RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering a good place for seeking admission

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their last year. There are many good companies that come and take part in the placement drives. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini etc. come here for placements. The highest package in my understanding was about 30 lakhs as studied and searched by me. Many students secure packages above 3.5 lakhs in our college. About 90% of students get placed through the drives. My plan is also to take a good job from placement and then do my masters.

My Engineering Life Review in this college

Admission:

I got admission through CAP Round as directed by AICTE and DTE, the process is of 3 rounds until you choose a college and finalize it. Admission dates for FE students start from around May-June period as college opens at around 15 July approx. And Students need to bring all documents attested and submit the original 10th- 12th documents in the college and after completing the graduation. He/She can collect the originals from the college after collecting LC from the college.
