Course Curriculum Overview
I chose L.L.B. (Hons.) for my dire interest primarily in humanities then in law. I aspire myself to be a litigating lawyer one day and this was the motivating factor behind securing admission here. As an undergraduate student from the same university, I was well aware of the functioning of Jindal Global Law School. The sense or familiarity, the excellence of faculty motivated me to apply for admission. The teaching method is quite application based which ables a student to grasp the correct knowledge of the subject. I really adore the faculty in the institution because of their diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Internships Opportunities
I have interned under various laywers across various courts of Delhi including the Sessions, High Court and Supreme Court as well. Further more, I have done research internship with the international organisation of the Law Reporters Based in Dubai. My recent internship was with National Human Rights Commission. I have been alloter tasks like research, legal drafting, attend court proceedings, book reviewing etc.
Placement Experience
In L.L.B. (Hons.), the student becomes eligible for placement after the completion of their second year for PPOs. Also, after giving their sixth semester exams, the students are eligible to sit in placement drives. For law, top tier law firms like Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Khaitan and Khaitan, Luthra and Luthra, litigation lawyers etc. visit the campus for placement drives. Over 90% of the students are provided placements with the aid of the university. My plans also include placement through college in law firm after completing my degree.
