Just being honest!

Dislikes

  • The campus is kind of a little small comparing to other colleges in Bangalore, but it's not like i dislike it.
  • There is a lot of traffic near our college as it is a IT area.

Course Curriculum Overview :

According to my ranking, I thought I'd get EEE, but to my surprise, the 3rd round results of counseling were quite surprising and I got ECE in NHCE, Bengaluru. The faculty here is quite impressive, they are highly qualified and the method of teaching is really good! 1st sem went very smoothly and according to our capability and depending on how much we studied, our results would depend.

Internships Opportunities :

Companies like Capgemini, oracle, Microsoft, etc. offer internships and provide stipends! There are many projects created by the students which are considered during their interviews and all! Good companies offer internships.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Fees here are a little bit higher, as it is a private college and owned by management the fees are a bit more! There are scholarships provided and job placements are quite impressive, am still a 1st-year student so I obviously don't have a job right now.

Campus Life :

The campus is not that big, not too small! It is quite good! The infrastructure is good! There are many opportunities for extracurricular activities, sports, clubs, etc.! It all depends on us how we grab the opportunities! NHCE will master us in our extracurricular activities if we take our first step.

Admission :

The admission process is quite lengthy! Also being a covid batch , KEA tested our patience to another level . Firstly there will be documents verification later there will be 3 rounds of counselling where we need to select, deselect/delete the colleges we have opted for depending upon the rounds respectively! After that ,the results will be announced and we'll be alloted a college according to our ranking and the admission process in the respective college will be processed!

Interview Experience :

No, there was nothing as GD or group discussion, or any test conducted for the admission process! It was purely based upon the counselling results and for the management people of course the money! The admission process was lengthy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.

The college placements are pretty good and provide an average of 6lpa for the students. There are lot of IT companies visit to oyr college but there are no opportunities for the courses other than IT related branches. Students become eligible after their 6th semester in the academics.
