The Dark but unsaid truth Of Lord Jagannath Missions College, Bbsr ????

Actually I'm always dreamed to be a doctor, but due to inconvenience I had to choose something else. I really believe service to mankind is service to God. There are so many people who need our help in each moment, if I could be able to help them in their needs then it will be a honor to myself. And in this covid pandemic and several accidents people got died being not able to conceive the medical helps. That really makes my mindset so stronger to choose to be a Nurse atleast, so that I can help needy people actively. So, There are about 35 teachers in this college some are lecturers, some are professors, some are tutors and along with the Principal and Vice Principal. According to the teachers there are about 12 classes having 600 students respectively. The Faculties have mostly completed Msc Nursing and some have completed Bsc nursing,some have done PHDs. Some teachers teach average,some are so good. Most of the teachers show slides. Each month contains an exam which never stops tho.

Actually most of the students till now came from West Bengal to get affordable course here and to get internships. This college were giving internships mostly in hospitals of West Bengal like Health World Hospitals, Durgapur, Apollo Hospitals, Durgapur, Dreamland hospitals, Durgapur, etc. But, now they are taking 150 + students and don't provide internships to all, by promising them in the beginning before the admissions. Here they are cheating with students and their parents by fake promises.

The Course fees for the girls hostelers of Bsc is 1.75 lakhs, from that 70k goes to hostel and meals. 10k goes to exams and more 10k goes for functions and programmes, but still they take extra money for those. Somehow expensive for middle class students but comparing to other collges it's ok. There's some stipends, but only for Sc, St according to the administrative office. The college provides internships to only the bright students somehow, but promises to give everyone which is so depressing :(

So yeah College arranges Annual stops of various indoor and outdoor games every year. There are several functions arranged by both students and programme coordinator teachers. Freshers party and Fairwells party are the most enchanting fests here. And programmes like The World Nurses Day is the day of oath taking of freshers. There's a medium sized library where around 150 to 155 students can be sitted and so many famous author and subject wise books are there in which some can be issued by students and some are for reference purpose, those can't be issued, but you can read them in library. Classrooms are non ac based, provided with projectors, green boards and desk and benches. The washroom facility is poor here. Like there are 4 floors, having around 500 girls and the washrooms are just 6 -7 for all of them, 3-4 for boys which is too cheap according the expense we provide to the college.

The rooms are not so good in all the hostels of the college, some are good, but the rest are too old and not that much attractive. Which is a really depressive thing. Meal quality is average according to routine but some times in occasions and once in a month they provide good food, but the students have to fight to get enough food according to their needs. It's really really harassing a lot to struggle for food everyday just to get atleast the minimum amount according to age. Some foods are really really poor. Not well affordable hostel rooms and uncleaned poor and less number of public hostel bath rooms. :(

There's administrative office who is conducting all the programmes of admissions of both counselling and management sits. They will provide the details about application fees and when the Odisha Government's application dates get out, the applications here at the near by dates come out. Just before some days it started in this institution as it's an Utkal University under Graduation college and school for the students who are interested in the study programs like Bsc Nursing,Gnm Nursing,Post Graduate Nursing programs,Msc Nursing and DMLT. You can reserve sits by donating 20000 extra before the counselling during the time of sit reservations. The number of students should be controlled to a certain limit, the amount of students that they can raise according to their capacities of faculties and both administrative and other executive departments. During Admissions the Institute counsellors should provide right and detailed information about The College campus, hostel, food and teaching..
