Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is very healthy and the faculty members are very good and helpful. They help us in every need of ours. I choose this course because it was my dream to get into the medical branch. Faculty: Student ratio is 2:1 The faculties are Highly qualified with great experience in medical knowledge. The exams used to be held on time without any delay. And it requires good knowledge to pass.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes, our college offers internship facilities for 1 year with a salary of 14500 per month. Our internship consists of working in all the departments. Duty is divided into morning, evening, and night shifts.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Colleges provide facilities for economically weaker students reducing their fees by 50% and also along with the State government they provide stipends to the required students. Also, Post matric student provide scholarships to the student who are in need.

Campus Life :

Our college organises lots of functions and programmes to distract us from the hard life. The college has library where we go read for hours and it also has different kinds of books and journals. The annual fest is named after an embryo in our college. All kinds of sports activities are seen in our college.

Admission :

The admission process was very lengthy. we have given an entrance exam for getting into college. The eligibility of the course was to pass class 12 with 60 per cent marks in PCB ( physics, chemistry, biology) and to score the minimum cut-off as well as a decent rank in the exam. We also get reservation benefits too. Improvements that we want to see in the admission process mainly includes reduced waiting period.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a very tough course, and it's curriculum has to be tough. We are being taught how to teach patients, how to take care of society, and all the basic etiquette a doctor should know. The exams are usually very tough. We have to be thorough about topics since we are going to save lives in the future.

Placement Experience:

We are placed in the hospital during the internship on how good knowledge we have based on giving good treatment to the patients. The salary, in the beginning, is good and as the experience increases, we can even open our clinic or even hospital or work privately too. Placement in many renowned hospitals is quite so easy thought AGMC college and they give much money to work as a doctor. Like private Institute provide freshers 30-40k per month salary and govt are giving little bit low salary per month. But after 1year this salary increase.

Placement Experience:

About 100 students are getting admission every year in MBBS course. Our batch 2014-15 is the 10th batch of this college. And among 100 students of our batch, 90 students passed out in the final year in one go and all of them have successfully completed their internship duties by March 2020. The students become eligible for campus placements after the 3rd year. Almost 60-70% of students get placements every year from our college. I have completed my MBBS in 2019 and internship in 2020. Now I am working as a junior resident in NIL RATAN SARKAR MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL, KOLKATA.

Admission:

The college takes in students purely on the basis of their NEET scores. I scored 508 in neet and got this college in my counseling process. Then I went ahead to seeking details of the admission procedure and got admitted to the college.

Placement Experience:

We are placed in hospital during the internship on how good knowledge we have on the basis of giving good treatment to the patients. The salary in the beginning is good and as the experience increases we can even open our own clinic or even hospital or work privately too.

Entrance Preview:

I got admitted on 2014 by TMC joint entrance. I scored pretty good. My rank was 83 in Tripura State Domicile and I opted for MBBS cause its my dream course. I always wanted to be a Dr.

Admission:

My father collected application form for the entrance exam from TMC office itself and I appeared the exam and got lucky. The notification is released both in college website www.tmc.nic.in as well as in newspapers. Now selection is through NEET only.
