Course Curriculum Overview :

One of the most prestigious courses and not so easy to get. A lot of faculties are there, and almost every student gets a faculty member from all the subjects. All are well-qualified from around the country with fellowships and postgraduate degrees, teaching experience is also very good. Exams were taken often and it was moderate the tests were made tough to assess the depth of the students.

Internships Opportunities :

After completing the course we get out a mandatory internship at our college which is for 1 year we get to work with lots of departments and the peripheral health center. We get to attend all types of health camps with other NGOs too.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Although it was not easy financially but the state government has provided a stipend which many students had availed and also for economically weak students the fees were decreased to almost 50% of the original.

Campus Life :

We have the annual fest known as NEURON where we make houses from the academic year and have all types of games both indoor and outdoor games and many more. We have sports week and cultural week also. We have a library where we get all our study materials and we also have an outer reading room with good facilities for studying and research. We have an internet room where we can do our research-based projects. Each class is designed with smart equipment and all are air-conditioned. Our class has got better seating arrangements for better perception. We often have a league of sports events where almost all outdoor games are played. We have our very own website and social media accounts to present out day to day activities.

Hostel Facilities :

All rooms are well spacious and ventilated. Beds tables and shelves are pre-provided. 3 meals are given including breakfast which is according to a routine balance diet. Registration is simple, you are alloted with room once you are admitted to the college. Even if you want to stay in PG good and well-maintained PG are available nearby at affordable cost.

Admission :

HS+2 with PCB more than 60% minimum marks. Completion of NEET cutoff marks and then proper council till you get your merit list. The selection goes by merit list Under DME. Selection and preference were done online with registration totally online.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a very tough course, and it's curriculum has to be tough. We are being taught how to teach patients, how to take care of society, and all the basic etiquette a doctor should know. The exams are usually very tough. We have to be thorough about topics since we are going to save lives in the future.

Placement Experience:

We are placed in the hospital during the internship on how good knowledge we have based on giving good treatment to the patients. The salary, in the beginning, is good and as the experience increases, we can even open our clinic or even hospital or work privately too. Placement in many renowned hospitals is quite so easy thought AGMC college and they give much money to work as a doctor. Like private Institute provide freshers 30-40k per month salary and govt are giving little bit low salary per month. But after 1year this salary increase.

Placement Experience:

About 100 students are getting admission every year in MBBS course. Our batch 2014-15 is the 10th batch of this college. And among 100 students of our batch, 90 students passed out in the final year in one go and all of them have successfully completed their internship duties by March 2020. The students become eligible for campus placements after the 3rd year. Almost 60-70% of students get placements every year from our college. I have completed my MBBS in 2019 and internship in 2020. Now I am working as a junior resident in NIL RATAN SARKAR MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL, KOLKATA.

Admission:

The college takes in students purely on the basis of their NEET scores. I scored 508 in neet and got this college in my counseling process. Then I went ahead to seeking details of the admission procedure and got admitted to the college.

Entrance Preview:

I got admitted on 2014 by TMC joint entrance. I scored pretty good. My rank was 83 in Tripura State Domicile and I opted for MBBS cause its my dream course. I always wanted to be a Dr.

Admission:

My father collected application form for the entrance exam from TMC office itself and I appeared the exam and got lucky. The notification is released both in college website www.tmc.nic.in as well as in newspapers. Now selection is through NEET only.
