Remarks

overall experience was good. one thing college needed to work upon was the management and the placement issues.

Entrance Preview

i cleared UPSEE entrance exam conducted by UPTU. i was given an opportunity to selec the college and then it as alloted with on the rank

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

course was quite lengthy but it was innovative but needed some king of change according to current scenario.

Internships Opportunities

yeah college provided the internships on various softwares and on robotics. the stipend provided was minimum 10k

Placement Experience

2.5

placement scenario was quite easy for CS and IT students . other branch students suffered a lot and there was cut throat competition to get a single job. i think 40 % students only got placed from 2017 batch. infosys ,ericsson just saved the college repo. the average package was 2.0 LPa

College Events

tech fest and college festivals and national festivals were also organised with full effort and students used to participated with full enthusiasm.

Fee Structure And Facilities

it was quite high and was not affordable for most of the middle class family .

Fees and Financial Aid

there was a UP government scholarship scheme available for everyone but my experience was pathetic.

Campus Life

4.5

college sports competition was held every year and everyone used to participate in all activities.

Hostel Facilities

hostels of my college were like we were living in luxury hotels. it was alloted with all the stuff needed for students. there was always a calm environment aroundand hygienic and fresh air.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior used to sort out the issues we had with the management of college and they were suppotive in all aspect but that was in college only.

Exam Structure

exams were conducted frequently and LABS were held seriously and all the kits and instruments were available but there was a need of replacements.

Faculty

3.5

faculty was polite and cooperative although they were less experienced but afterall we had to manage and cooperate with them .

“A Good College for Learning and Growth”

Likes

Being a CSE student I get the opportunity to learn about computer science and improve my skills The college experience also helps me understand the importance of practical knowledge

Dislikes

The placement support could be improved especially by providing more opportunities for students to get internships and jobs in reputed companies

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers important subjects related to computer science and programming. It gives basic technical knowledge, but more practical learning is needed. Exams are held every semester, along with internal tests and practicals. Some subjects are easy, while others need more preparation. Overall, the course is good, but adding more real-world projects would help students learn better.

Authorities are lazy and rude, they sometimes make you run here and there for absolutely no reason and just to waste your time

Placement Experience:

IBM, HCL, TCS, Microsoft, JP morgan, IIT delhi professional visit the University frequently and 25% students get placement and my plans is to do masters after btech and i think highest package was 50 lakhs and ill try to beat that package.

"The Place for Unlocking Potential"

Likes

Firstly the environment is what I liked the most when I first joined the college cause this type of greenery and atmosphere is very less found
Secondly it would be the seniors , the seniors are really helpful at times of need and are really friendly
Thirdly it would be how the education system work , there isn't an overload of assignment or projects on the student , so it's very easy to focus on our studies

Dislikes

Personally it would be a long distance for me ...cause travelling by bus consumes a lot of time and energy
The thing I disliked the most would be the people around me and their way of thinking cause I just don't like the way they converse . I don't know about a few of them but most of the people I met are really sweet and soft spoken
Lastly it would be the fee structure for me ...cause being a private institution it can offer a more affordable fee structure

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason I chose B. Tech in data science and artificial intelligence is because nowadays we know how AI has its influence over almost every field and every company requires a candidate who is well known about AI . Particularly I opted for data science because I wanted to be a data analyst from the start cause it just fascinates me about how differently we can see and arrange data in so many ways and also the market value of being a data analyst is quite high nd not easily found

More Information About AKGEC College

I got thus college through counselling and the top AKTU Affiliated colleges I opted to were JSS, AKGEC, ABES, from which I got ECE branch in AKGEC which I locked in the first round of counselling itself as I was satisfied with the college. The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
