Course Curriculum Overview :
I have an avid interest in computer science and hence I opted for this course. The computer science department, being the biggest one in the college has an adequate number of staff members. Professors need to have a master's degree to qualify to teach. Term exams are determined by the university.
Placement Experience :
Placement starts at the end of the sixth semester. There are plenty of companies coming to the campus for placement, primarily IT-oriented companies. Companies like TCS, Cognizant, UST, etc. conduct drives every year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees are reasonable, there has been no fee hike in the last two years. There is a plethora of scholarships provided to students based on the eligibility criteria. There are no jobs provided by the campus - with or without a stipend.
Campus Life :
The tech fest is named Bodhi and the arts fest is called Drishya. Both fests together last up to four days. The library facility is excellent, there are plenty of spaces for sports and there is a gym in college too.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facility is great value for money. The menu is decided by a committee consisting of students. Food has been of excellent quality, and mess fees are based on individual consumption of food. It's well priced and overall great value for money.
Admission :
Had to write the KEAM entrance exam, the remaining admission process can be done on the official college website. Details regarding fees and dates to apply can also be found on the website. The admission process is efficient.
