Remarks :

More focus should be on the development of students skills and talents rather the boosting the number of students admitted every year. And the most importantly on Placement, because there is completely zero surrounding for that in college. The college best suited to my performance in my 12th board exams. Where it depends on you to shape your future without any obligation.

Entrance Preview :

I got direct admission into this college after my 12th exam. There is no competitive exams or interview process for the same. Just deposit the fee and you are admitted to the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course I selected was mechanical. Though there was not much focus on practical learning but we students forced our faculties to go the practical way. Our VC is a person associated to academics so when he joined our college he brought along clean energy and solar projects in our college funded by Govt of India and in partnership with foreign Universities, on which I personally got chance to work upon fir more than 2 years.

Internships Opportunities :

College didn't provided us with internship opportunities but students had to search outside for internship opportunities for themselves.

Placement Experience :

The placement is the most dull part of the college. We never expected placement through our college and it remained the same.No major companies visited the college.

College Events :

The sports fest every is of state level, and the technical and cultural and Managerial fest were all city level. Every year we had one sports fest of 7 days and one techno-cultural fest of 3 days at different time durations. In between for the last 2 years we were also having Management fest which was also city level. In sports and techno-cultural fests the average footfall used to be around 2000-3000.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees for BE was Rs. 65,000 including bus charges for those residing outside. For students residing at hostel fees was Rs. 75000. Comparing to other cities Engineering in Bhopal is much affordable.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College never provided any scholarships or loans, though students got it through their respective state government. I didn't availed any scholarships or loans. There was a dedicated cell for scholarships and loans which would guide students for the same.

Campus Life :

From the start only I was into extracurriculars. I was the one who started conducting seminars and workshops from IITs and NITs into my college. It completely changed the environment of my college. Every 2nd month we used to have some or the other seminar or workshops. Sometimes it was difficult to allocate dates for seminar as we were totally occupied.

Hostel Facilities :

Initially I didn't resided im hostel but during my last year I resided in hostel for 6 months. Hostel rooms are on sharing basis. Depending on no students one can have single room partners or sometime when there are more students it becomes a room for 3. But its quite ok. Mess didn't provided with quality food but after regular complaints the quality got better.

Alumni/Alumna :

There isn't any platform for the student-alumni meet. There is no network for the same. Once the college is over that is the end of line. Only those who are personally connected remains in touch.

Exam Structure :

There was not much fuss about exams and labs.Everything runs smoothly. Only we get more rush in college during exams and less crowd on lab days. But for those who were regular to college it was not a hype.

Faculty :

In the 1st year most of the faculties were themselves recently pass outs students who were pursuing higher studies from our college. As the years progressed we got more experienced faculties depending on their expertise on the subject. More the experience more was the teacher- student interaction.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Computer science and engineering is the upcoming future and as we all know the first choice of the student is to choose CSE as there is a lot of job in CSE in upcoming days months years etc.All work shifted to digital that's why there is more need for software engineers. Here faculty members are good .They will support you in all kind of thing you need in learning but also Strict in case of any mistake and wrong things done .Teachers are well qualified and graduated from IIT, NIT and other famous named Colleges but all this depend upon you how you play your role. There is 200-300 students in the CSE branch and Competition here is good. Term examination occurs consecutively there is 3 exams in a sem and 2 practical paper exam and the difficulty is average and quality of questions is good you can learn more from them.

Remarks:

I chose this college because it has good placements. I developed interest in electronics in grade 11 and hence the course. It is a reputed college for years now having AA affiliation and NBA affiliation.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good. We have companies like Dell, Endurance, Direct-I, Nokia, PwC, Robert Bosch, Epicor, Philips, L&T, Siemens etc. On an average, about 80 companies visit the campus every year. 82% of the people get placed in the campus.

College management needs to be more strict as there are few student unions which conduct few poltical rallies which can be reduced to provide more learning avenues.

Remarks:

Good college if you didn't got rank for NIT in mains exam. The extra assignment always fed, so I won't make any comments over these. Here you will get a decent college life but it can't be said about the nightlife of college, yaa there are some restrictions but it can be Avoided. Overall if you want nit or iit but felling short of marks, you can get here.

Placement Experience:

As I am new I this institute I don't have much knowledge about placement but I have a rough idea about it.after some research I found that the placements are really great. The highest package was also good ad the average package is also great. major 'it' companies like Google and Microsoft have come in the past also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose information technology. It is one of the courses which I want to study. The institute really focuses on the practical and labs and their management is also very good. Regular labs are held according to the assigned timetable. The researched field is always open for the students of this institute as it has the Ph.D. course as well. There are also other facilities that are required for starting a career in research.
