- As it is a women institution there are so many rules and regulation are strictly followed.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum of the course was really excellent. All the faculty members are well-educated and well-trained. I love mathematics; I have chosen a maths group in 12th standard. so I have selected BSc mathematics. The ratio of teacher and student is 1 to 50. The method of teaching is really excellent. We have a mathematics lab and smart classes. There were 3 internal examinations for a semester. Totally we have two semesters and 6 internals per year.
Internships Opportunities :
As the mathematics department does not have internship opportunities, I am not aware of that. But information technology department and computer science department students are used to having an internship program.
Placement Experience :
There are so many campus opportunities for the students. the students of 5th semester and 6th semester or eligible for attend this. We are allowed to attend three interviews. if we are selected in the first one we should not attend the others because opportunities should be given for all the students and mainly all the students get placed. There comes companies like a TCS, Wipro etc. They are not only belong to Tamilnadu but also from other states like karnataka, Kerala etc. I am really happy to say that I have got selected by institute of language management in Bangalore and I got an opportunity to work as a communicative English trainer. I started my career with ILM, Bangalore.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee for all the courses is affordable here. So that poor students like me can also get the opportunity to study here. A scholarship facility is available at this college. The campus drive is also available in this college. so many companies which do not only belong to Tamilnadu but also other states come for campus drives for selecting the people who are suitable for their companies. I am very happy to say that when I was studying there I had been selected by the Institute of language management.
Campus Life :
Annual day sports day fine arts Fiesta and other celebrations are celebrated on this campus. Fine Arts Fiesta is a 2 days celebration and inter-department competition. There we have various competitions like off-stage events and on-stage events which bring out the individual talent of the students. There is a big library inside the campus where we have so many books from various departments which are really helpful to the students who would like to refer to more books rather than their syllabus. There is the Red Cross, Blue Cross, and also NSS, and NCC.
Admission :
There was no entrance exam. Cut off system is followed. The students who scored more marks in the 12th standard will get admission in regular and who are not will get admitted in SF courses. I approached the college directly and got the admission.
