Dislikes
- Rules and regulations: They follow some strict rules and regulations. So students in the college like us felt like they treated us like a school children. We didn't have much more freedom there.
- Career opportunities: we felt they can avail us some more career opportunities to the students. There the campus placements opportunities are low.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I did BCom(CA) as my UG course so I did Mcom (CA). The faculties are well-experienced and student-friendly. The student-faculty ratio is 40:1. Most of the faculties are Ph.D. scholars and the teaching method is lecture format using blackboard they will teach everything and for computer classes, they provide separate computers for the student for practical learning. The exam pattern is for one semester (6 months) 3 term exams and one main exam. The difficulty of the examination is moderate to pass.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship is given for the job-oriented course and for Ph.D. scholars. The stipend will be provided only for Ph.D. candidates who are doing Ph.D. regularly. The projects are done by all final-year students, MPhil, and Ph.D. scholars.
Placement Experience :
Only last semester students are eligible to attend the campus placements. In the college, they have separately a placement cell. Through placement cells, the companies are making interviews on the college campus and recruiting students for jobs. There were approximately 30% of students are getting a placement in their last semester. My plan is to get a good job after completing my degree and I worked as an accountant in an auditor's office for 1 year. After that, I worked as an assistant professor in the Department of commerce for one year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The cost of the course is affordable. They provide scholarships within the college and arrange them from the private trust to the eligible students. I have got a Jindal scholarship from a private trust. And from the college itself, they are providing scholarships for SC/ST. The stipend is provided for the Ph.D. scholars who did the course on a regular basis.
Campus Life :
They were conducted inter-college, intra-college completions, sports day, college day, etc. And also send interested students to the inter-college other department's competitions and for other colleges' inter-college competitions. They have a separate block for the library and they maintained books properly for each department. The library had more than 5000 books. Lots of Sports and extracurricular activities are availed after college hours.
