Remarks

The teachers and the overall staff were highly supportive and friendly and addressed my every problem to the best of their level. However there was a lag in industrial exposure which is required to hone up the skills of an engineer but overall it was an amazing experience.

Entrance Preview

No entrance test is required to get entry into your desired course but having a high score can help you get a scholarship. I chose mechanical engineering being from a similar background.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course was a careful planned one but still lagged in practical learning and industrial exposure. Children are encouraged to do research but only a few take actual interest in that. There are 3 options to choose from in elective . 1. Design 2.Manufacturing. 3.Thermal

Internships Opportunities

No, the university doesn't provides any internship you have to find it off campus .

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement are completely dependent on the students capabilities and the university provides a lot of opportunities because of it's extensive tie ups with big giant mnc's .

College Events

5

Events are organized here and then around the campus. There is not a single day when there is no event in the campus. They include techfests once a year, cultural fest once a year, annual sports day , other small events are organized on an almost daily basis.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It used to have a reasonable fees during my time i.e. during 2013 but now I have heard that fees are sky rocketing as the university became popular. Now it is approximately more than 650000/- for a semester of 6 months.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes in case of a sibling studying in the same university, exceptional academic performance , high jee score .

Campus Life

4.5

Chandigarh university helped me grow as a professional in my field and guided me at every stage of my education and career so that I can emerge as a successful engineer. Yes the university is extremely concerned about extra curriculars and requisite opportunities are provided. The teachers and the overall staff were highly supportive and friendly and addressed my every problem to the best of their level.

Hostel Facilities

5

No, I was a day scholar but I visited my friends rooms frequently and they were spic and span. Everything was neatly and elegantly organized and the food was really nutritious and healthy.

Alumni/Alumna

No such thing I witnessed in the university .

Exam Structure

Exams and labs are the essential part of the overall course and without hands on learning a person cannot grow. The university understands this requirement and pays extra attention towards such things.

Faculty

3

As the university is new and growing exponentially therefore there is a shortage of trained and experienced faculty and teaching staff but still there are some professors who are PhD.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I particularly liked my minor degree in Electronics and Communication engineer which is cover more on the modern Computer hardware concepts . Suggestion as overall faculty can introduce one course each semester as elective which student can learn apart from that branch.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
