Remarks :

The college was one of the best parts of my life - even though we had a small campus, we thoroughly enjoyed being in college and spending time with friends and faculty. The teachers are so loving and friendly and there is a very good relationship with the students. The college management also allowed the elected members amongst the students to take key decisions regarding events and other areas

Entrance Preview :

The admission process was based on the percentage each student had scored for their 12th board examinations. The selection was then done basis ranking provided according to the percentage. I chose B.com because I really wanted to learn tax - unfortunately our 12th std syllabus did not include the subject. The admission process for me ended with one interview owing to the grades in 12th

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is chosen by the MG university and I believe it needs to be updated and focus more on practical work for college kids rather than the same old theory chapters. The students somehow get bored by learning the same introduction for various subjects

Internships Opportunities :

There in no scope for internship under the MG university syllabus which is very sad. Neither are we allowed to take leaves for any internship undertaken during college days which basically means the college students lack exposure to the actual corporate world

Placement Experience :

The placements are pretty average and are mostly non skilled jobs like BPO's offering a very small package as well. Around 30-40 got placed in companies like Infosys, Sutherland, Nash Capital Partners, Tech Manhindra however only 5-8 chose to pursue their offer owing to the low package. The offer from these companies were from 8,000 per month to 15,000 per month

College Events :

The college celebrated a lot of functions including the annual college day, freshers day and other festivals. However since the campus is very small the college did not have the infrastructure and facility to conduct inter college fests. The college only organised an inter college debate every year and attracted participation of more than 60 students

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Since this college is a private college , the fees is higher as compared to every other MG university college Fees was paid semester wise and had to be paid before the beginning of each semester. The fees structure did not include exam fees and was paid separated before each semester exam

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I am unaware of any college scholarship or loan facility provided by the college to any of its students. Also since it's a private college and the fees was so high as compared to other mg university colleges - only those students who could afford the fees would join the college - need for a loan wouldn't be actually required

Campus Life :

The college had a mix of students belonging to various castes and religion - however everyone was considered equal and values from all religions were respected. The number of boys almost mostly exceed the number of girls The college faculty always encouraged the students to participate in college fests and we were allowed time to even practice

Hostel Facilities :

There was no hostel facility for the students. Students who came from different cities had to find their own living space. The college canteen was also very small and consisted only of snacks and not lunch. However since the college is centrally located it's always easy to find a house and food

Alumni/Alumna :

Being a small college almost everyone knew each other. The seniors are always helpful and also guide us with college activities. The college encourages students to come back to the college and describe their professional experience which also helps a lot of students who are confused about their future

Exam Structure :

The college emphasised on record work and assignments which kept students busy most of the days writing pages and pages of our subjects We also had a model exam before each sem exam which included the entire portion and they never gave up study leaves making it quite hectic for us

Admission :

As soon as the results were announced, I immediately went to the college to apply, I chose the college bacause of their timings. They called back after seeing my application form and I was given a date for interview. A short interview process took place but they immediately confirmed my admission

Faculty :

The college has both experienced professors and freshers as wel. It's quite sad that sometimes freshers find it difficult to teach a subject especially areas like Tax, QT and financial services But they are all hardworking and take efforts to clear doubts after due research

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm a 3rd year BCom Taxation student. I don't think that some subjects are relevant for the course. Some subjects are not required in the future. From 5th sem onwards there is an open Course subject which we have to learn and pass the exam. The open Course subject that I have received is not based on the marks that I received in my previous semester exam. And in have to go to the office to change the subject of my like later on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My dream is to become a accountant. So I choose this bcom with computer application course. The course structure was very nice and we can understand easily. In my opinion do more practicals . This course is therotically oriented which is not good when we go for a job. So it is better to give more practicals than theory sections. Main reason I hated the college was the exams. The college put the exam without any time gap which was very annoying

Placement Experience:

They are providing the best placements from other college. In the 2nd year of our course first they give training to us and then they give internship programms . And in the third year they make us ready for our placements. They provide best company placement to us. They are not looking our marks for selection but the attitude towards them.
