Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is really good as it focuses on a practical approach. Lots of case studies are discussed on a daily basis and the faculty is extremely helpful. IMI has got one of the best faculties in India. The batch strength is fairly decent. And we have a classroom of 60 students where everyone gets a chance to interact with faculty.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are really good. Companies come with good roles and even the stipend is fairly decent. Faculty members are allowed for assistance and so many opportunities are provided in terms of the selection of the right company and roles.
Placement Experience
The placements are great. 100% of students got placed at our campus. The placement committee helps in all the coordination and a lot of companies visit the campus. Major recruiters are ICICI Bank, EY, Delloite, Asian Paints, Reliance, etc. The highest package went for around 50Lakhs this year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for the PGDM course is around 20 Lakhs. There is a tuition fee waiver scheme that allows students belonging to EWS to get a fee waiver of up to 20 lakhs. IMI provides quite amazing opportunities to all the students. Companies like Flipkart, EY, Rpg, Asian Paints, Cognizant, Adani, and Delloite come to our campus. Everybody gets a decent chance to sit for all the companies. Overall the placement assistance is really good. Our average package went around 17 lakhs in 2023. Most probably it will only get higher from here.
Campus Life
The social life is great at IMI. During the entire year, a lot of fests are conducted and hence people get to participate in lots of competitions. The library is very good and it has all books available in ebook format as well. Classrooms are fully ACd and have 3 screens + 2 whiteboards which help in full visibility. There are many committees and clubs like placement committees, admissions committees, branding and media relations, finance club, marketing club, academic secretaries, etc. I would appreciate all participating in some kind of club or committee as it widens the horizons of learning.
Admission
Both CAT and XAT were acceptable for getting shortlisted for the PI process. From 2022 onwards, they started with profile based shortlisting hence it gave equal opportunities to all the candidates. The admission process was very smooth and Admission Committee conducted webinars and helped a lot in getting our doubts cleared.
Interview Experience
There was an online written form that we had to fill out for SOP. On the basis of SOP, past academics, and CAT/XAT scores, students were shortlisted. The process was very smooth. All the questions of PI were based on my personal experience and my perspective around a topic. Some GK-oriented questions were also asked. Overall it was a great experience.
