  • Connectivity to Bangalore City is quite hectic.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is well organized consisting of major subjects like Software Engineering, Computer Networks, Database Management, Machine Learning, Data Structures & Algorithms, and Programming Languages. I have chosen this course as I am highly interested in the development of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. Faculties are well qualified and have a Ph.D. degree. They teach nicely and make sure each student understands the concept, faculty: student ratio is 1:15. Each semester consists of two internal exams and one final exam. They are a bit easy to pass. One can score good grades by attending regular classes and reading content two to three times before the exam.

Placement Experience :

Placements are good, students became eligible for placement from the 6th Semester. Regular recruiters from campus are Phone Pay, IBM, Amazon, Starland, TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Mercedes Benz, JSOL, Starland, Bosch, and Cognizant. Each student gets three to four offer letters. Median Package is about Rs. 6 Lacs and the highest is Rs. 36 Lacs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The regular fees for most of the courses are between Rs. 200000 to Rs. 275000 per year. You can get a scholarship based on your JET score. Once your fees are fixed during admission after that there is no financial hike policy for tuition fees. Different scholarships available are Chancellor's Scholarship, SII Scholarship, and COMPEX Scholarship. The college also provides a Liqui Loan facility in which you can pay your fees monthly at zero interest rate.

Campus Life :

The campus life is awesome. You get a huge lush green campus to roam around. Social Life is great, you can make friends easily and peoples are very helpful in nature. Different clubs are active in the colleges like Cultural Club, Enigma Club, and Infosphere Club. Every year INFINITY a techno-cultural annual fest is conducted. Books and Journals are easily available in Libray. Classrooms have all basic availabilities like a smart board, projector and all. Sports Facilities are super, the campus provides infrastructure and ground for every type of indoor and outdoor sports.

Admission :

The admission process is straightforward, anyone who has passed 10+2 with more than 60% can fill out the application form and write the JET (Jain Entrance Test). One can get the application from the official website of Jain University. JET is mandatory for securing admission to B.Tech Programs. It is an online written test conducted every year in May. The application fee is about Rs. 600. The candidates will be selected based on their JET score and fulfilling the eligibility criteria.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. From 3 rd year, students are eligible to sit in the placements. Most IT companies visit the college like Accenture, TCS, Amazon, cognizant, etc. Few core companies also came like Texas instruments, kpit, global foundries, Bosch, etc. The average package is 4.5 LPA and the highest is 22 LPA for my branch. 60% of people in my department got placement.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the final year. A few companies visited when I was studying about 12-15 MNCs companies visited all were product-based and I think the highest package was 7.5 LPA. As the Corona pandemic started college was closed and companies didn't visit afterward. There is less number of companies visiting our college all are looking more for Cs graduates less or no EC core companies visit. I am planning to pursue M tech

Remarks:

It is positive. Candidates appearing in the 12th exams in 2019 can apply. Diploma candidates can also apply but only for admission in IITs. There is no minimum mark required to apply for JEE Main. Candidates have to secure 75% (65% for SC/ST) in 12th exams or be in top 20 percentile of the respective board.
