Remarks :
Faculty is good. Raging free atmosphere but as it does not have ground left a bad remark for the college.
Entrance Preview :
I gave JEE and i scored 47 in the exam. I registered for the counseling in this college and i was allotted a seat in b-tech automobile engineering as this was my only preference. There was no interview taken apart from counseling. Yes like everyone i applied in other colleges too and i was selected in those colleges but as it was my choice to stay in Madhya Pradesh as my hometown is in Madhya Pradesh and this college was the one of the best in my state. So i finalised this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Being autonomous university course was structured by the institute itself. The syllabus is not very lengthy. Although every subject have 5 units to study in the first semester but few units were sort of combined unit when compared to other university. However course structure is absolutely fine.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes they provide internship. Companies like TCS & L&T and many more offers internship. I don't have any idea about the stipend. But the students who are placed from this college gets and average of 3.5 lakhs/annum.
Placement Experience :
Oh yes placement are very fine. Different record for different branch. But overall 70-80% students are placed in some of the renowned companies like TCS,L&T and many more. The average package is around 3.5 lakhs per annum. Most of the students are placed in TCS. Every brand have different placement %. Branches like IT, CS, EE, textile have the dominant placement %.
College Events :
In this section list is little long. As college have tech fest, and cultural fest. Many events are organised by various groups and organisation of the college. Sports event is one of the biggest event which is organised in this college. Talking about the festival's every department welcomes Ganesh ji during Ganesh chaturthi. As i have celebrated this festival only in the college i don't know about other festival.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee is not much expensive. 37500/ semester excluding bus fee of 6000/semester. After the tuition fee we are charged for 1000 for registration for semester exams. The fees is the same for other branches of b-tech. Otherwise there is no other fee for other extracurricular activities.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes college offer scholarship but to some certain caste. Recently they were offering scholarship for only OBC's. In this students were asked to fill a form if they belong to obc and then they were asked to find a test and according to the student's score they had different amount of scholarship.
Campus Life :
Ratio of boy to girl is 4:1. As college organises lot of events and have really active participation in any inter university competition but due to the lack of grounds in the college campus makes a little disappointment. But rest labs are well maintained full of equipments.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is located in middle of the city indore and college is situated in outskirts of the indore. The students who stays in the college hostel need to take the college bus to reach there. College hostel offers laundry, mess, various types of rooms, wi-fi facilities. Students are charged a average amount of 5000 out month including above mentioned facilities.
Alumni/Alumna :
Very helpful, kind, and fun loving seniors. Seniors are really kind and usually encourages you towards your passion and gives you good advice.
Exam Structure :
Exam structure was summed up making really busy schedule. We have two mid term exams before semester exam. After every mid term we give viva exam and in the semester exam the practicals are divided into two parts 1) internal 2) external. In internal exam we are asked to give viva and do practicals in the absence of external. And in external exam we do the same but in the presence of external invigilator. And at least semester exams are held.
Admission :
I took admission in this institute through counseling which was based on JEE score. However institute was offering another way by giving institute level entrance exam. The details was published in a news paper and through that i visited the website and filled the registration form. Further steps were mentioned in the website. Later i was asked to pay the counseling fee which was rs1000. Then according to the schedule result of each round of counseling was posted in the site. After getting my allotment letter i was asked to reach the institute for submitting the tuition fees and for further formalities. And after all this i was allowed to attend the college.
Faculty :
My expectations was very high regarding faculty and i am much satisfied with the faculty as they are highly qualified. Many of the teacher teaching me are post graduated and many have done with their phd. With having wonderful communication skills and wonderful teaching skills and of course having knowledge of their subjects. Hence this is the one thing i loved about this college.
