you can take IT, CSE, and ECE to get placement in this department good which will average 80%. student and teacher ratio is good .in this college each group has 60 students and it will divide into 2 sub-groups [ for practical and digital classes and each group of 60 students is assigned 1-2 teachers.

tcs wipro cognizant amazo will come to give placement in this college it will like 80% will get placed highest package is around 10 lakhs per annum and the average is around 4 lpa .my plan is to get in MNC fin of the post of company

in this, there are total fees of around 500000 and it will decide in the semester in per year it will near 1-2 lakhs. the fee hike is every year near 40-70 thousand rupees only. all goverment and private scholarships are available at this college.

Campus Life

This college hosted a tech fest like the previous year is was named jis tech'22 and the annual fest was majistic'23 This year tech fest is very coming soon. a good library with 80 thousand plus books.

Admission

to add to jis college of Engineering you need to take admitted by qualifying in WBJEE or JEE MAIN or you can take admission directly. All goverment reservations and scholarships are available in this college.

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

My College Life tour can never be described in words but through emotions

To get into Engineering college we have to sit for either JEE Mains or WBJEE after clearing any of this, the rank will get you into sny of this course. During Couselling I got into AOT in Adisaptagram. But the distance from my house is quite far so my parents wanted me to get into any nearby college. So when I took admission in JIS College of Engineering, I got in with my WBJEE rank. The admission process went quite well.
