Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose ECE as it has a wide range of opportunities and scope in the work field. The faculties are well qualified and top teachers from around the country. The way they interact with the students is also top-notch. But yeah little improvement is required while interacting. We have 2 term exams per year(sem exams) and 1 midterm per semester(starting from the 7th sem), before this, we had 2 internals per sem.
Placement Experience :
7th semester with a CGPA of 6.5 with no active backlogs are eligible for placements. I don't which company, but the higher package this year was a CTC of 10LPA (I think TCS). Almost 80% of students get placed. I want to pursue a job for 2 years to gain real fieldwork experience and the lab to pursue my master's.
Fees and Financial Aid :
I think the fee is quite reasonable when I joined. My fee is 1,35,000 per year (the year 2019). But I think the cost is gone up now, I think it's affordable compared to other engineering colleges in Bangalore. I got placed in an edu-tech company as a business development executive in Studique with a CTC of 7LPA.
Campus Life :
Our fests are called Invincia and Meraki. Meraki was organized in Feb.-march 2020 and then Covid hit. Invincia was organized last year i.e. 2022 Feb.-march and mostly will organize in October this year (2023). The library is amazing with lots of books and knowledge. When it comes to sports, it's top-notch. Good courts, and equipment, and coaches as well. And extracurricular activities are also there.
Admission :
The admission when I joined was pretty good and easy. A guide was appointed till the whole process was done. Application forms and fee details were got from the university. The admission process is easy, but too much time-consuming, just want to fix that.
