Flip Class facility on this college , is too better to encourage a student.
Photography club, that is so lovable passion of some students.
The campus is so large. And, the campus facility is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because, on this present situation computer is everything. After so many days we'll fully dependent on computer. Yes, faculty members are high on every department. Although I don't know their qualifications, but their teaching method is so good. They are very helpful. 3times of exam. 2 internal & 1sem exam on every semester. But, assignment submission is so important.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 470000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is good by comparing different colleges on Kolkata. Scholarship opportunity is full if you eligible to get it. You'll get the scholarship mustly. Like - SVMCM, National Scholarship etc.. If you need financial support you can apply Students Credit Card. They'll help you.

Campus Life

MAJISTIC is the name of the annual fest, it conducts on March- April on every year. And the tech fest's name is JISTECH , it also conducted on June-August . Library support is fully. You'll get all types of books hard copy & also soft copy. Class amenities are better. Many types of annual sports are conducted by college indoor and outdoor. With many social club like - Photography, Environment, Quiz etc..

Admission

You can took admission by WBJEE or JEE MAIN entrance exam. But, if you come the college earlier you can took direct admission without extra fees. Also you can apply your admission application through online JIS website.

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

My College Life tour can never be described in words but through emotions

To get into Engineering college we have to sit for either JEE Mains or WBJEE after clearing any of this, the rank will get you into sny of this course. During Couselling I got into AOT in Adisaptagram. But the distance from my house is quite far so my parents wanted me to get into any nearby college. So when I took admission in JIS College of Engineering, I got in with my WBJEE rank. The admission process went quite well.
