Remarks :
I would say it is the best and also I will recommend every student who wants to build their career, kindly choose VIT as their dream college. Because the infrastructure, placement, living standard, enjoyments, education and all other activities are very well planned and maintained.
Entrance Preview :
VITEEE is the exam I appeared for and I got a rank of 5000. I also heard initially that vit is the best college and all students get placed so it made me think that if I want to shine in my career vit is the best as it has good facilities along with research and placement opportunities. Thus I choose vit.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Courses are very good at the college with a lot of real-time projects that we are to do in every subject which helps students to understand the subject deeply and get practical knowledge. There were separate lab sessions for most of the subjects.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, VIT provides a lot of internship opportunities for the students.. There is a TIFAC also on the campus. Apart from that, there are other opportunities that the PAT office helps students to go for internships like HP, HCL, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle, etc.. Also, they provide research-based internships in IISC, IIT, NIT, etc.. The stipend varies from company to company and it ranges between 20000 to 60000 per month.
Placement Experience :
The college has very good placement opportunities.. Every year 300+ companies visit the campus and most of the students get placed.. The average CTC for CSE, IT branches are 7lpa..The highest salary for this year was 30lpa. The companies like Oracle, Amazon, Google, Deshaw, VMware, Flipkart, Cisco, Microsoft, WIPRODIGITAL, Deloitte, HP, Dell, Samsung, Maruti, Hyundai, HSBC, SCB, Royal Bank of Scotland, Societe general and so many other companies visit the campus and recruits a huge number of students.
College Events :
The technical fest is GraVITas which is celebrated every year and more than 30000 students all over the world take part in it and more than 10lakhs prize money are won. The college has a cultural festival named RIVERIA celebrated every with proper zeal and enthusiasm. It's a 4-day festival in which more than 30000 students take part in it and so many celebrities visit the campus for pro shows. To name a few of the who visited are Armaan Malik, Shreya Goshal, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Kapoor, Salim Sulaiman band and a lot many are there
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is much feasible as compared to another college. The fee per annum is 2lakhs for academics fees which is a nominal fee. Even we can see nowadays in IIT fees structure are almost two lakhs so in comparison to that we can say vit being a private college fees os not too much high rather it is feasible for all. Also, some students can avail scholarships and hence they will pay much fewer fees
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yes, there are lots of scholarships in college. Even if students are in the top 1000 ranks of VITEEE, they offer scholarships. Also, there are other scholarships based on merit which is awarded.
Campus Life :
There are so many extracurricular activities held in the campus. So many clubs are there and every club conducts numerous activities every day like debate, dances, music, technical activities, fashion shows, etc. Technical sessions happen almost every day in the field of IoT, AI, Robotics, and many others. Different gaming opportunities are there like cricket, badminton, basketball, volleyball, carom, ludo, chess, tennis, swimming, etc. Also, there is no sexual harassment, racial discrimination, politics inside the campus.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is the best and the food quality is also very good. They have lots of canteen inside the campus. The mess foods are also very good. They have separate counters for different peoples like North Indian veg, North Indian Non-veg, South Indian Veg, South Indian Non-veg, Special mess. The foods are provided four times a day like breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Its very rich food
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes everyone is very helpful and ready to help each other.. For all stuffs, we get a helping hand from senior teachers. Even i remembered, in one robotics session one of the senior guided me so well and I learnt a lot from it.
Exam Structure :
The labs are very well maintained with all modern infrastructure. Every lab has a good number of computers and other instruments. The lab exercises are very well designed to give good exposure to students. The exams are much frequent in college. Every subject has 3 quizzes, Two mid exams, and one term end exam. Apart from it, there are assignments which are to be submitted
Admission :
There was an entrance exam named VITEEE which I appeared and then the results were declared and I got a rank of 5000. After that, I attended counseling sessions and choose the CSE stream. Now as per the norms vit releases out forms at the end of December and the form can be filled till February of next year. The forms are available online as well as offline. For online, forms have to be filled online and submitted. Once it is submitted, in the month of April slot booking has to be done for the dates of the online exam. The students appear exam on that day and in 2-3 weeks, results are declared. Then they declare the ranks along with the counseling dates.
Faculty :
The faculties are very good and they have in-depth knowledge of the subjects and they teach the concepts very well which helps students to gain wider knowledge about the subjects. For every subject, faculties are provided who have wider subjects knowledge and teaches very well. They teach in such a way that a student can easily score marks in competitive exams like GATE, GRE, etc. The faculty to student ratio is 1:40
