Remarks :

ARSD is one of the most prestigious college in Delhi university south campus and I believe it has one of the best faculty and staff which is both very helpful and knowledgeable at the same time. With this killer combination, I am sure they will continue to shape the future of all the students who will be fortunate enough to get the admission in this prestigious college.

Entrance Preview :

CBSE board, I scored 85% and I opted for this college because I never wanted to study in North campus and this was the best option based on my score. Plus it has the most amazing hangout place satya niketan.

Course Curriculum Overview :

They should really focus on the core course more than substitute subjects. But the overall knowledge you get from this course is more than enough to help you excel in your career. The first year curriculum is very basic but more than 60% of the students were not able to qualify. From 2nd year onwards you start focusing more on the core subject i.e. Chemistry.

Internships Opportunities :

When I was studying there, there was no concept of internship in our college. I am not sure about maybe they might have introduced it by now. It is very important to learn the business aspect of it while you are still trying to figure out what will you do with all this knowledge early on, this will give more focus to the students and I believe they will pursue it more instead of chasing the corporate life by leaving science stream and joining MBA after graduation.

Placement Experience :

When I was studying there, there was no concept of placements and job opportunities in our college.

College Events :

Anual fest in DU, how can you forget that. It is like a carnival-like atmosphere. Every college wants to outperform the other college. DU elections is another annual event that most students look forward to, studying in DU is an experience like no other you have to live to believe it is the best feeling ever.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

DU fee structure is very good. I don't know how they provide such top quality service at such low fees. Getting state of the art labs, technicians, and top quality faculty at such low cost is like a dream come true for any student. In DU they charge annual fees and there is no extra-curricular fees or anything. Even they don't charge anything extra for exams. For lab equipment, you will have to pay if you break anything so be careful.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

NO, This is no scholarship or loan offered by our college. This is Delhi university and they do not provide such facility.

Campus Life :

Labs in our college was really good and we used to have all the equipment to perform all the experiments in the syllabus. Sports ground was really good though we never had any official college sports team. Our college fest used to be really good and performances from our college used to be at par with rest of the colleges that used to compete with us.

Hostel Facilities :

There is no hostel facilities and mess food in my college. We only used to have a college canteen and most of us use to eat from outside so no complaints. Outstattion students used to stay as Paying Guests in nearby areas like satya niketan and munirka etc. by this facility is not provided by the college so it has nothing to do with the review.

Alumni/Alumna :

Never used the alumni network for our college. I don't even know if it exists or not. If there is any please add me to it but I am most connected to everyone in my batch even though they were not in my course.

Exam Structure :

Exam structure in DU is the most chilled out that is why you have all this free to hang out with your friends and go watch all the movies. Have fun and spend time with your friends. All you have to do is pay full attention in practicals and attend most of the classes and you will get the idea how to crack the exam.

Admission :

DU admissions are very straightforward and transparent and everybody knows about it because the moment CBSE board results are out it is the hot topic in the news. When I got the admission it was a very simple process you have to fill the college form and select the course you want to pursue and that is it. If you clear the cutoff list you will get the admission.

Faculty :

Faculty of the college is excellent. They have all the knowledge in the world. They are willing to share it with you, all you have to do is listen to them and they will not only tell you how to clear the exam but they will teach you the basic behind each and every concept. They have the best lab and technicians to give you the practical knowledge that will help you to better understand the concepts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is actually great as it helps us to prepare for the competitive exams like the cell biology, genomics and various other topics. Also, the teachers are very friendly and they teach through E-boards which is very helpful as it is easy to use. The type of exams is the semester type in every 4 months exams are conducted and the difficulty level is medium to hard.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible in the last year for placement and there is dedicated placement cell called 'pinnacle' but it offers good placement in commerce courses but very less number in science courses and definitely neglible in chemistry as students generally tend to opt for a master's degree for better opportunities in industries as well as exams such as GATE. The package ranges from 3 to 4 lakhs. There are no specifics for the company names as the data is not continuous. My plan is also to opto for a master's degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Relevance and comprehensiveness by my course I want to become a scientist. And I have more opportunities in government examinations I chose this program because of my favorite subject. There are practical exams in this program also. They are using very effective methods by teaching faculty that was helped in understanding the material for the student. The examination conducted was average and more size, than the examination paper conducted on the given syllabus there I experienced it very well so I think this is a very beautiful journey for me.

Placement Experience:

The placements were not as great but the placement cell was working hard enough to get good placements for everyone. Placements average at about 4LPA. The vetting and everything was seamless and placement cell members were really helpful.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is very efficient as it widens opportunities for students and exposes them to various companies. The majority of students were pursued masters in various fields. Some of them were successfully selected in job categories like banking etc. The science students usually don't get placement benefits in the college. So the students have to be dependent on other sources for internships and placements. Many companies like Genpact and other visited Inside the college. Same was the case for previous batches too.

Placement Experience:

The college has an active Placement Cell. It organizes workshops, seminars and provides placement and internships in a wide range of profiles. Major placement opportunities are available to BCom students. Final semester students become eligible for campus placements. As per the stats of 2019-20, the highest package offered was 9 LPA and average package was 4.3 LPA. Major job profiles were finance, audit, sales, marketing, consultancy, HR operations etc. and 96+ companies were associated including KPMG, EY, PWC, Deloitte, Decathlon, UrbanClap, Genpact, Chegg, Wipro, FIS, Teach for India, Josh Talks, Inshorts, Careers 360 and many more. However the percentage of students getting placed is not much greater, because majority of students don't sit in campus placements and go for masters. Generally, BCom graduates are offered with better profiles in big companies (KPMG, EY, Deloitte etc) I am planning to go for MCA after my graduation .

Placement Experience:

3rd-year students are eligible for placements. The highest package of 2020 was of Mc Kinsey with 8lpa and average package of SGTB Khalsa 3 to 4 LPA. The students are mostly places from commerce courses as the big fours come for them. The percentage of students getting placed is 60% and I feel, I might opt for a job after a degree which is suitable as everything is work from home for now.

Placement Experience:

I guess from 5 th semester students are eligible for campus placement and for this, there is a placement cell also being run in the college. Some of the companies that come to our college are Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Josh talks, jio , yamaha , de Shaw, and co. The highest package offered is - 19 LPA The average package offered is - 8 LPA It depends on the course you opt for, but the highest placement is for commerce and economics. ( 70%) I am planning to do MSc after my grad. And then I will pursue research.
